Chapter 35 - The Miracle of Love

Beauty in your love:

The sparkling morning and the sun scattering its rays were slowly warming the air.

Two hearts sitting inside the car were filled with excitement for a new journey.

The car had already left the hotel, and the journey had truly begun.

Ramish looked toward Richer.

He was quietly gazing out through the car window.

With affection, Ramish placed his hand over Richer's hand, but Richer immediately pulled his hand back.

Ramish understood the reason for Richer's displeasure.

The manager's compliment had not pleased him.

Ramish gently shifted closer to Richer and softly rested his head on his shoulder.

Richer turned his face toward him and said with light sarcasm,

"Put your head on the manager's shoulder instead."

Ramish smiled.

He pulled Richer into his arms and said softly,

"Richer, if I look beautiful at all, it is only because of your love.

The reason this face smiles is you.

A single glance of yours falling upon me makes me feel even more beautiful.

When you touch me, it feels as though you have turned something priceless into something invaluable.

Yes, Richer…

if I look at you and you do not look at me,

if I do not look and you look at me—

I would shatter and scatter if I am not seen myself in your gaze.

And I liked seeing you jealous like this…

it means I have begun to enter your heart."

Richer smiled faintly and rested his head against Ramish's head,

as if his silence held a quiet confession.

After a few moments, Richer gently asked,

"Aren't you hungry?

We'll stop along the way for breakfast.

If you feel hungry earlier, just tell me."

Ramish nodded.

"Alright."

Ramish adorned his lips with a playful smile

and leaned close to Richer's ear, whispering softly,

"If I were still feeling a little hungry right now,

what would you think about that?"

Richer flinched slightly.

He looked at Ramish with surprise and confusion and asked gently,

"Tell me… what do you feel like eating?

I'll tell them, and we can go there first."

Ramish smiled, moved a little closer,

and softly murmured near his ear,

"Because of you, I look so beautiful today.

Doesn't your heart wish

to kiss my lips with yours?

I'm very hungry for that touch."

Richer immediately, with affectionate nervousness,

placed his finger on Ramish's lips,

then looked forward toward the Manger seat

and gestured for him to stay quiet.

Seeing the playful smile spread across Ramish's face,

Richer couldn't stop himself either,

and a faint smile appeared on his own lips—

a smile that carried more feeling

than words ever could.

Ramish placed his hand over Richer's chest

and felt the rapid beating of his heart.

Richer silently signaled to him and held his hand lovingly back, and said,

"Don't be mischievous."

Then both of them quietly began looking outside through the car window.

Dubai's beautiful buildings, colorful flowers lining the roads, and lush green plants were pleasing to their hearts.

The car moved smoothly along the road at its steady pace.

Ramish asked,

"How many days will we stay in Abu Dhabi?"

Richer replied,

"Three to four days."

Then, with a soft smile, he added,

"It's my first time going there."

Ramish smiled as well and said,

"And it will be my first time seeing it—with you."

Then, in a low voice, Ramish continued,

"I've been in Dubai for quite some time now,

but my heart never wanted to go anywhere.

I was always tangled in your memories.

Where was the space to escape your thoughts?

It was only my company friends

who would forcefully take me out,

otherwise I never went anywhere."

And anyway…

wandering with you has a joy of its own.

Richer listened with a smile,

then softly said,

"Then it's good, isn't it?

Now travel with me

and fully enjoy this journey—this togetherness."

As he said this, Richer held Ramish's hand and spoke seriously,

"Promise me

that you won't make your condition the same again

as you did before.

Loving someone, remembering them—that's fine.

But hurting yourself because of their memory…

that isn't right, Ramish."

A deep moisture settled in Ramish's eyes.

He spoke softly,

"Just the thought of being away from you makes me restless.

I have never been able to free myself

from your memories."

Richer said, taking him in his arms,

"Turn these memories into your strength, not into a source of pain."

Ramish replied,

"Richer, please don't talk about separation just yet.

I want to spend every moment with you smiling.

I don't want to make myself—or you—sad."

Richer smiled.

"Alright."

After a few moments, Richer spoke to the manager,

"Please stop at a nearby restaurant. Let's have breakfast first, then we'll continue."

The manager replied,

"Sir, we've already completed more than half of the journey.

If we continue at this speed, we'll arrive very soon.

You can have breakfast at the hotel there."

Richer said firmly,

"No, please stop at a nearby restaurant."

Ramish gently said,

"It's okay. We can have breakfast at the hotel after a little while."

Richer smiled and replied,

"We can do that, yes—but you had said we'd enjoy breakfast on the way,

and I want to fulfill that wish.

We won't take much time—just breakfast, and then we'll leave."

Ramish smiled.

"Alright."

The manager stopped the car near a restaurant.

They stepped out and entered—it was a beautiful place.

Richer ordered breakfast from the menu.

They ate with enjoyment, feeding each other small bites,

and after breakfast, they relaxed with tea and coffee.

Then they got back into the car and resumed their journey.

Richer asked Ramish,

"Did you eat properly?

Why do I feel like you rushed, just to continue the journey?"

Ramish smiled and replied,

"No, nothing like that. I ate properly.

And I'm not going to leave you just for this one breakfast—

there's I still a lot left to eat with you."

Richer laughed softly.

"I want you to eat freely whatever you want, buy whatever you like,

but you never seem to do that."

Ramish remained quiet.

Smiling, he held Richer's hand and said,

"Thank you for taking such good care of me."

Richer laughed,

"Thank you again?"

Both of them started laughing, and the journey became even more pleasant.

Together, they looked outside, teasing each other playfully,

until they finally entered the boundaries of Abu Dhabi.

The manager informed them,

"Sir, we have entered Abu Dhabi."

Both their faces were glowing with happiness.

Beautiful poetry:

They say when you speak, flowers fall from your words,

If that is true, then come—let us talk and see.
