Chapter 212 - Chapter 212 – The Sky That Writes in Blood

I. The Tower Descends

The Tower of Incomplete Remembrance stopped floating.

Their descent was silent, but every foot they fell caused fractures in Edenfall's collective memory . Buildings forgot how they were built. People confused faces. Names became empty sounds.

"He doesn't just want to erase us… he wants to rewrite us," Naeya murmured, his eyes red from holding back tears.

From its base, figures covered in calligraphic symbols emerged. They didn't speak, but their every movement wrote a new version of events directly onto the streets. They were the Bleeding Scribes , warriors who altered reality through battle.

II. The Bleeding Scribes

One of them, Kahzmael , fought Akihiko. Each slash of his spear wound not the body, but the history of the adversary itself . Akihiko began to forget battles won, friends fallen, until he almost didn't know why he wielded his weapon.

But just as he was about to fall, Lirea shouted:

"History is not in what happened, but in what we choose to remember!"

Akihiko activated a new technique: Void Correction , which isolated a specific event—the first time he lost someone important—and re-recorded it with his own will.

The blow that followed wasn't physical: it was the declaration of a narrative of its own. Kahzmael was destroyed, turned into ink that would never be read.

III. The Mirror of the Unwritten

On the lower floors of the Tower, Naeya and Lirea found a crystal-walled chamber. Trapped within were alternate versions of themselves, never born, never developed.

"If we fall here, we will be replaced by those who were never real," Lirea said.

The chamber began to collapse. The alternate versions tried to convince them to give up their places. They promised worlds where everything was easier, less painful.

Naeya, about to give in, stopped when she saw an unscarred version of herself .

"That's not me. My wounds tell my story. I don't erase it."

Using an emotional technique, Roar of the Living Shard , they shattered the mirror and freed the chamber.

IV. The Guardian's Final Act

Meanwhile, Shoen Rikudō , head of the Throne, watched from above. In his hands, the last fragment: the only one untouched by humans, the one that contained the Dark Founder's original intent .

Shoen threw it into the core of the Tower, causing a transformation: the Tower turned into a gigantic humanoid figure made of letters and symbols.

"Now history will write itself. And you will be the blank margins."

But then, the Eye of Persistence flashed.

From all over Edenfall, ordinary people began to shout their memories. Thousands of human voices filled the air with small stories: loss, love, betrayal, dreams.

That tidal surge of humanity halted the Living Tower's advance. History couldn't be written without the voices of those who lived it.

V. Heaven Opens Its Folds

A final crack formed in the sky. It was no longer a hole in space: it was a page . A celestial page, visible only to those who had fought for its history.

Akihiko, Naeya, and Lirea looked up. Their story was there, written in blood, tears, and will.

"We're not done yet," Akihiko said. "But this… is our page."
