Ah, I don't think you should bother your aunt right now. She must be busy.
"Why not? I'm sure she will be happy to see us. Besides, we already brought some gifts for her. They pointed at the little suitcase they carried from the car."The three of you are so thoughtful," Rose said as she patted their heads gently.
"So mum, can we go there?" Ivy pouted, and her eyes were sparkling with a hopeful gleam. Rose was utterly defeated. She couldn't win against that cute face.
"Okay, I'll take you to her bridal room, but promise me you will behave, okay?" She asked, and the three children nodded. She grabbed Ivy's hand, and they all started walking into the hotel.
As they were walking, someone else was watching. It was Diana and her friend, Anisa. They were lounging around as they waited for the wedding to start when Diana's attention was caught by the children. A frown appeared on her face.
"What's wrong, Diana?" Anisa asked.
"Those kids, something feels odd about them."
"Hm, why? I think they are quite cute. Especially that girl. Geez, she looks like a little doll. I just want to squeeze her face. She squealed at the last part.
Yes, she might be cute, but Diana didn't like her. She thought the little girl looked too much like Rose. She had the same amber eyes as her. But that wasn't the worst part. The two boys walking alongside them looked strikingly similar to her fiancee, Ricardo. Especially the boy with the blue suit. He could be the mini-version of Ricardo. It made Diana feel uneasy. Hm, maybe I'm just overthinking it. Yes, I guess she's cute, she replied.
"Right!? Ah, I can't wait to get married too, so I can have a cute daughter like her. You too, Diana. When is your wedding with Ricardo? Just hurry up and get married already, so you can have cute children like those. Anisa replied. She had always been fond of little kids, after all.
"Yeah, I'm sure if I had a daughter, she would be so much better looking than that girl." She said before checking her watch.
I think the wedding is about to start soon. Let's head into the reception room. She told Jennifer. Hm, you're right. Let's go."
"Aunt Gloria, you look really beautiful!" Ivy approached the blonde woman with a huge smile on her face.
Thank you, little angel. You're looking beautiful today as well. She returned the compliment before turning her attention to the boys.
"Ah, my handsome princes, you're here as well." She greeted them.
"Yes, we even brought some gifts for you." Eric grabbed the suitcase and placed it beside her. Gloria's smile brightened.
"Thank you so much, you didn't have to." She replied.
Gloria Sanders was a famous plastic surgeon in Washington D. C who mostly handled facial reconstruction of people who had suffered from accidents or severe injuries.
Several years ago, Rose went to her to have her face reconstructed and, ever since then, they have maintained a good relationship with each other beyond business.
She was touched by Rose's story. The two of them were the same age and their personalities were compatible. They ended up being best friends.
Even though she was not biologically related to Rose, their friendship was strong enough that the children were taught to call her Aunt Gloria.
