Early in the morning.
Riya sets out to the kitchen to prepare breakfast with the other wolves. When she was done making breakfast, she went out to sweep the compound, as soon as she was done,she went into the mansion to help the other wolves with the chores.
Later, as she was arranging the dining room, a presence suddenly approached her. First, she thought it was one of her fellow maids but to her surprised, the figure kept on standing next to her without doing anything, noticing how idol the figure was, she decided to take a look at it.
BEHOLD, it was the alpha. Seeing this, Riya immediately bent her head, greeted the alpha and apologized to the alpha for her rudeness, the alpha not responding to her greetings, sat at the chair next to the dining table.
Where is the food? Aren't you done preparing breakfast; the alpha asked.
Aye! I will bring your breakfast right away sir.
Please hurry.
Yes sir!
Riya replied rushing out of the dining room. As she was heading to the kitchen, she came across Tim and her sister, they were heading towards her with their elbows crossed but she didn't want them see, so she walked right pass them with her head bent low.
When Riya was returning to the dining room with the alpha's breakfast on her arms, she saw the son of the alpha. She was shocked by the presence of the alpha's son but still, she kept her cool and served the alpha his breakfast.
Where is our food Riya?;
Riya's younger sister asked
Tim just sat at chair and stared at Riya.
My apologies, let me go fetch your breakfast.; Riya said.
Although Priya was Riya's younger sister, she wasn't a BETA. Though she was just a normal werewolf, her dating the alpha's son made her rise in ranks.
Didn't you see us coming when you were heading to the kitchen or is it that you don't respect me that you don't even care if am hungry; Priya said.
Though Priya was four years younger than Riya, and was also her elder sister. She didn't respect her, not even in the slightest, she always insulted and abused her elder sister like her mother because she a BETA and she wasn't.
( Riya not responding )
Or maybe you don't respect the soon to be ALPHA.
The alpha suddenly drew his attention towards them, staring intensely at Riya. Suddenly, Priya stood up and whispered into Riya's ear.
Or are you jealous of me? Jealous that my rank is way higher than yours, jealous that I'm dating the alpha's son. Come on big sis, just come clean already, you are jealous of your younger sister.
PRIYA Stop! that's enough, you shouldn't speak to her like that. Remember she is still your elder sister; Tim said, pretending to care.
You saw them when you were heading towards the kitchen, didn't you ? Why didn't you bother to serve breakfast to them as well ?.
The alpha asked.
No,I didn't know they were heading towards the dining room. I just saw them near the kitchen and I didn't know where they were heading.
Go get some food for them ; the alpha said.
Yes my lord.
A few minutes later.
Riya came with food in her hands and then, when she reached towards the dining table, she placed the tray of food that was on her hands on top of the table and then served Tim and Priya their breakfast.
There are vegetables on my meat.
Priya said, without waiting for Riya to respond, she quickly threw the plate of dried raw meat on her shirt, thereby staining her clothe.
Priya don't do that; tim said.
The alpha was still eating his breakfast, not giving a damn about what was happening.
I'm sorry, I didn't know you didn't like vegetables anymore.
Riya said and left, obviously heading towards the kitchen to bring her a new plate of food.
LATER IN THE EVENING.
As Riya was staring at the window in her room, she was thinking about her father who died many years ago. Her father was the only one who genuinely cared about her and didn't give a damn about her rank. She was always treated like a baby when her father was still alive. She was pampered, loved, and was spoilt by her father, he would always buy her toys. At first she didn't like how she was always treated like a baby but eventually, she started missing all that stuff after her father died. When she heard that father was dead, it felt to her as though it was a bad dream. She felt like she was having some sort of nightmare , that all of it wasn't real, that she needed to wake up from this bad dream. she still felt this way even after she saw her father's dead body. Well after her father death, a few days later, life became a living hell for her, always being mistreated by her family and members of the pack.
As all this thought went through her mind, tears started dropping from her eyes.
Oh father, I miss you so much.
Suddenly the door to her room opened.
Riya!
Yes ma'am.
The son of the alpha ordered some dinner.
Ok.
YOU ARE TO SERVE HIM DINNER IN HIS ROOM.
