Chapter 10 - Chapter 10 The House is Destined to Be Great Because of Me

The appearance of the prefects ended the commotion. In order to maintain order, they did not have time to understand what happened in detail. They drove all the students back to their own compartments and did not allow them to go out at will.

But the atmosphere in the compartment still did not calm down, but became more and more heated.

Almost everyone was discussing the incident in a low voice.

"That first-year student can actually use the Disarming Charm? And the power is amazing! It's incredible!"

"Yeah! And he doesn't look afraid at all, not like a freshman at all. That kind of aura is simply a natural Slytherin, too powerful! It will be more difficult for us to win the future House Cup!"

"Fuck Slytherin! Didn't you see his smile? How warm and confident! He is a natural leader, he should belong to Gryffindor!"

"Then I think Ravenclaw is also possible, after all, all the outstanding people come from there."

"He is really handsome! Why aren't I in the same compartment with him?"

In several compartments, there were arguments about which college Damon would go to and the screams of some young girls who were crazy about love.

Meanwhile, in the carriage where Damon was,

The petrified Malfoys and the other two had been taken away. Damon calmly sat back in his seat, while the other three kids had different expressions on their faces, but their faces were all red, as if they were about to burst out in anger.

Neville looked at Damon excitedly, shaking his hands up and down, as if he wanted to say something, but every time he had this idea in his mind, his face would become even redder, and his voice would be stuck in his throat, unable to come out.

Harry also felt that his throat was itchy - he almost wanted to cheer and scream!

He had not officially entered school, but he had witnessed a wonderful wizard duel! Damon! It was hard to imagine that he was a freshman of the same age as me!

Why was he so powerful? Wasn't he an orphan like me? There shouldn't be anyone who taught him magic?

He and Hermione looked at each other, and saw the curiosity and exploration in each other's eyes.

In the end, it was Hermione who spoke first.

"Damon, I have to say, I never thought that as freshmen we could achieve this."

There was a hint of admiration in her voice that was hard to conceal, but also a hint of doubt, "How did you do it? What did you learn before Hogwarts?"

Harry also came over, with curiosity in his eyes:

"Yeah, Damon, you don't look like someone who has just learned magic. You are obviously the same age as us, why is your magic so powerful?"

Damon had just stuffed a chocolate frog into his mouth and chewed it. Looking at the admiring eyes on the faces of the three "little friends", he shook his head and said,

"I taught myself. I should have some talent in spells."

"Just some?" Hermione interrupted him. After the surprise disappeared, she gradually developed a sense of unwillingness to admit defeat in her heart. "Your talent for spells is simply scary!"

"You know, Damon?" Harry said, "I really didn't expect you to be so powerful. You have never made me feel any pressure before, but the way you cast spells doesn't look like a freshman at all!"

He couldn't help but asked excitedly:

"Can everyone learn those advanced spells? If I want to be as powerful as you, where should I start?"

Can everyone learn them? Expelliarmus is your trump card.

Damon smiled and patted Harry on the shoulder:

"You will learn them slowly after you enter school."

"Okay!"

Harry's eyes lit up and he sat back in his seat excitedly, while Neville's face was still as red as liver, but he still couldn't say a word.

Harry didn't notice Neville's situation. He was recalling the scene of Daemon casting a spell to defeat the senior students, and couldn't help but continue:

"I just heard them say that you would go to Slytherin? What does that mean? Hermione, do you know?"

"Oh, of course I know, wait a minute." Hermione turned around and took out a "Hogwarts Admission Guide" from her schoolbag and opened a page:

"Actually... I've read some introductions about the colleges in the book. Slytherin is one of the four colleges, mainly characterized by its strong magical bloodline. Students in this college value wisdom, resources and magical abilities, especially those with strong ambitions."

She paused and continued:

"But I also read that Slytherin students sometimes seem a little too conceited. Legend has it that they don't always get along with students from other colleges."

"Yes, for example, Draco Malfoy just now is an out-and-out Slytherin."

Harry frowned upon hearing this, "So, you mean, if Damon goes to Slytherin, he will be very suitable? This is too strange, we haven't even been sorted yet."

Deep down, Harry didn't want Damon to go to a house whose representative figure is Malfoy.

Hermione continued at this time:

Although Slytherin students are sometimes a little arrogant and cold, not all of them are like Malfoy.

In fact, there are many very smart and ambitious students in Slytherin, and some of them have even made great achievements in the wizarding world. "

She looked at Damon and softened her tone slightly:

"I think if Damon goes to Slytherin, he may be more adapted to the environment there, especially since they focus on strategy and wisdom."

Harry frowned even more after hearing this:

"You mean, if Damon goes to Slytherin, he will get along well with the students there?"

"Maybe" Hermione herself was a little uncertain.

"Don't worry, I won't go to Slytherin, absolutely not. "

Seeing the three little ones were heartbroken, as if going to Slytherin was the best choice they had to make, Damon couldn't help but smile and said.

The eyes of the three people lit up again, and Neville finally mustered up the courage to say the first sentence of the day:

"Damon, if it were you, which college would you want to go to?"

Harry quietly pricked up his ears. He had a hunch that he and Damon would become good friends at school. If this was not his hunch, he would also try to make friends with this person. He is so cool! Isn't it?

And if they were in the same college, it would be much more convenient.

Hermione also said all the characteristics of the remaining three colleges in one breath and looked at Damon.

Damon smiled gently at this time:

"In fact, I don't care so much about which college I will be assigned to in the end."

He looked at the red gradually falling outside the window and said calmly:

"I only know that no matter which college I go to, this college will be great because of me."

Even Neville felt that Damon was a little arrogant at this time.

But for some reason,

the three people in the carriage had a confused and firm feeling in their hearts - he was right.
