Alia stood before Rick's cell, her cold smile widening as she took in his dishevelled appearance. His clothes were torn, and his face looked gaunt from days of captivity.
"Look at you," she said with mockery. "The mighty Alpha, reduced to a caged animal. How does it feel, Rick? To be imprisoned? To suffer?"
"What do you want, Alia?" Rick growled, his hands gripping the bars of his cell.
"I want you to understand something," Alia replied, circling his cell slowly. "This is your fault. All of it. You chose her over me. You humiliated me, cast me aside like I was nothing. And for what? For Emerald?"
Rick's eyes blazed with fury. "You're insane."
"Am I? Or am I simply someone who was wronged and decided to take what she deserved?"
"You deserved nothing from me!" Rick roared, his voice echoing off the stone walls. "I never loved you, Alia! You were a convenience, nothing more!"
