Crystal Foster sat in the police station, waiting for the investigation results. It wasn't long before Martin Riley arrived.
"How's the investigation going?" Crystal asked, looking a bit weary. "They're already checking the surveillance footage. I have a suspect in mind."
"Hazel Morgan," Martin stated confidently, surprising Crystal.
"You figured it out?" This was the conclusion she had reached after some analysis. How did Martin know?
Martin shook his head. "I guessed."
Hyland Riley was in no position to handle such matters right now. He wouldn't dare to, either. Stella had already paid the price for his actions last time, and she wouldn't repeat the same mistake. Among the people he knew, Hazel Morgan was the only one who could have done this.
Crystal clenched her fists. "That woman just won't go away. She's pregnant herself and isn't afraid of karma."
No, Hazel probably didn't even want the child. Otherwise, she wouldn't have shown up at their doorstep in the first place.
