Leo's lips curled into a grin. The choice was evident. Without delay, he chose 'Yes'.

As the quest was confirmed with a soft chime, his entire demeanour changed.
The expression of a casual traveller vanished. Instead, Leo was grinning like he had been waiting for this opportunity all along.
He turned back to Grendel, voice suddenly brimming with excitement, "We are not running away."
The old man looked at Leo as if he was looking at an idiot, "What? Didn't you just ask me to…"
"Sshhh!!!" Leo looked at the old man and stopped him mid-sentence, "Don't make excuses. Be a man. How can you even think about running away in the face of danger, leaving behind innocents to fend for themselves."
Leo thumped his chest and commanded the old man, "Take me towards that sound. I am a man, and I am going to save those innocent individuals."
"Even if I have to put my life on the line, I won't hesitate one bit."
Grendel's brows shot up, "Boy, are you crazy? That's where the Blackfang bastards are! You want to get your balls chopped off and fed to crows?"
Leo's eyes gleamed with justice, "Maybe. But I am not letting some ugly, good for nothing clowns terrorize people while I sit on my ass."
"You said you were an adventurer, not a damned hero!"
"Same thing when it counts."
Grendel hesitated, glancing nervously down the road, "Even if I say no, you are just going to jump off and run in there like a fool, aren't you?"
Leo raised his chin high with righteousness, "Old Man, you have nothing to do with this. Drop me here, and you can run to safety."
"Thank God. Then you save those people, I will just…" The old man was more than relieved to hear Leo, but he was cut short midway.
"But I know you old man. You are the same brave, wise and righteous man you were 50 years back," Leo put his hand on the old man's shoulder and spoke with appreciation, "You are itching to kill a few Blackfang bastards. Even your dear Hilda wants to kick a few balls. Aren't you Hilda?"
The old man sighed like he aged ten more years, "Gods damn your generation," he muttered, "Fine. But if I die, I am haunting your dreams. I will be the ghost that mocks your love life every night."
"Joke's on you, I barely have one," Leo smirked.
Grendel flicked the reins, and the mule groaned forward, "Hilda, you bad-tempered witch, if we die today, we are going to feed this bastard to wolves in the afterlife."
The cart lurched forward and the wheels rattled harder as they picked up speed. Dust kicked up behind them, sunlight flashing off leaves as the road narrowed between tall brush.
Leo drew his sword halfway from its sheath. Not fully. Just enough to feel its weight, hear the metallic whisper.
[Quest Timer Activated
Time Remaining: 29:53]
"System," Leo muttered, eyes locked ahead, "Let me know when we are 50 meters away from the bandits"
[Acknowledged]
And at the same time, a scream echoed through the trees. They were getting closer and could hear men shouting. Some were barking orders, others fighting with their primal instincts.
Leo could even hear some faint cries of females crying begging for help.
Grendel's hands shook on the reins, "They might be taking women as prisoners. They might kill all the men and round up the women. We are running to our own deaths."
Leo smiled, cold and eager, "Relax. Worst case, you will die a hero. Now slow down. We don't want to alert them."
The Old man snorted hearing him, but still slowed down his cart.
[Blackfang Bandits are 50 meters away]
"Stop the cart," Leo whispered to the old man, and the old man obliged immediately.
And then through the trees, they saw it. A burning wagon. A dozen or so bodies on the ground. A woman crawling backwards, blood on her dress.
Only one man in a ragged black armor stood in front of her, twirling his sword and looking at the girl with a scarred grin.
The man reached down and grabbed the girl by her hair, "You bitch. You made me lose six of my brothers."
"Now I am going to make your father pay for every single one of my brothers."
"And I will enjoy you as well," The man licked his lips looking at the weeping girl from top to bottom before stopping his gaze on her big bouncy breasts.
"I will make you cry in joy. And when I am done with you, you wouldn't want to leave my big cock," The man said, rubbing the girl's face against his hard cock.
Leo's eyes narrowed, as he looked at the man harshly treating the girl. He couldn't see her face from this angle, but he was sure she must be beautiful.
[Target Identified: Blackfang Bandit]
[Enemy Level: Level 3]
[Innocent Survivors: 2 (1 is in front of you, and 1 is hiding inside that wagon)]
He stayed hidden behind the tree. The iron sword he got from the system as a reward was already in his hands.
He was just waiting for an opportunity to attack the bandit.

Leo grinned looking at his chances.
"Looks like I am already getting an early welcome party,"
