Chapter 258 - Chapter 258

Kurohane waved at Hela, who was watching him from a distance with a bewildered look. He extended his hand, a gesture that felt like it was reaching through space and time, and grabbed the collar of Hela's tight costume. As soon as his hand touched the costume, the sharp spikes on Hela's horned helmet vanished instantly, as if evaporating into dust, transforming into soft black curls that fell down her back.

Without a word, Kurohane plunged his right hand into Hela's chest. Amid Hela's shocked expression, he forcibly severed the connection between Hela and her underworld. From her chest, Kurohane pulled out a small dagger, the core of the hell dimension that Hela had controlled. A small black snake suddenly emerged from Kurohane's chest, swallowed the dagger, and then disappeared again.

"What did you do to me?! Where's my underworld?!" Hela screamed, collapsing to the ground. She felt her connection to the underworld had vanished. The divine power in her body slowly disappeared until she became an ordinary human. "Where did my power go?! What did you do to me?!"

Hela could not accept that she, a Hell Lord, had become a mere mortal. She couldn't even summon her sword anymore. Due to the loss of her divine power, her body was so weak that she couldn't stand.

Kurohane just smiled, waving his finger in the air and opening a portal. A terrifying hellish breath spewed out from the portal. With a flick, Kurohane threw Hela to the other side of the portal, dropping her onto a group of unconscious Asgardians. Hela landed right at Odin's feet.

"Hela? A hellish breath?! Where did you come back from?!" Odin asked, shocked.

"Odin, right?" Kurohane said from across the portal. "Your Gungnir is mine. It's my gift for letting Hela go!"

Kurohane flicked his finger, and Gungnir, which had been in Odin's hand, flew through the portal. The portal closed, leaving Asgard battered by the hellish breath.

"Hela! Who was that on the other side of the portal just now? Was he a powerful Lord of Hell?"

"A Lord of Hell?!" Hela realized her power returned after she was in Asgard. Although not as strong as a Hell Lord, she was now an Asgardian God again. Looking at where the portal disappeared, Hela shuddered in fear. "That person is not just any Hell Lord. He... he might have become the true Devil!"

Odin looked at his chafed palm. He had used all his strength to hold Gungnir, but the spear was still forcibly taken without any resistance. "Will the universe be in chaos again..."

As Odin was filled with anxiety, another portal appeared, and a bald female sorcerer walked out. She looked at the place where Kurohane's portal appeared and sighed.

"Don't worry, Lord Odin. I have heard the voice of Eternity. He will not be a threat to the universe," The Ancient One said.

"He is the Devil!" Odin retorted.

"But in a certain universe, he is also my disciple," The Ancient One replied with a smile. The Eye of Agamotto on her chest opened. Under the power of time, the ruined Asgard was like pressing a rewind button. Everything returned to its original state. The only thing that changed was that Gungnir would not return.

"Su Zhou? A good name. It seems I am quite lucky," The Ancient One muttered, looking at where the portal disappeared.

Kurohane held Gungnir in his hand. This thing was of slightly inferior quality. He melted Gungnir into a ball of golden liquid. When he took the Hell Dimension Core from Hela's body, he already knew Hela's original universe and sent her back there. The sudden invasion seemed to have damaged the three magic circles established by Kamar-Taj on Earth, but he felt the problem was not too big since Dormammu was gone.

While Kurohane was reinforcing Gungnir, not a single Hell Lord managed to escape. They were all controlled by Kurohane's authority, and all the dimension cores in their bodies were swallowed by the small snake. The Hell Lords who had lost their dimensions were sent to Urd, becoming the first batch of hell villains!

The more hell cores were devoured, the stronger Kurohane's power became. His power even began to surpass the Three Hell Giants.

"Are you really sure?" Kurohane challenged after turning Gungnir into a pair of golden brass knuckles and putting them on. He looked like a thug in a suit. "Aren't you afraid I'll beat you to death?"

The three hell giants looked at each other. "Group fight or one-on-one?" they asked in unison.

"How about we try both?" Kurohane replied casually. He knew today was unavoidable.

Sithorn glanced at the expressionless Cyttorak. Then he looked at the Eye Demon Shumagras, who was already shamelessly walking toward Kurohane. Shumagras extended his tentacles, wanting to make contact.

"Lord Kurohane, how about we cooperate? Whoever among us becomes the Devil, we can divide the entire Hell dimension fairly, how about that?"

"Not too good. Let me be honest," Kurohane grabbed one of Shumagras's tentacles. "The thing I hate most is tentacle monsters! Especially a tentacle monster like you with many eyes. Just die!"

BAM!

Kurohane punched Shumagras in the face with his golden brass knuckles. Seven or eight of his eyeballs scattered. The tentacle that Kurohane was holding was instantly torn.

"Cyttorak, I swear on the name of Kurohane, the fight between Shumagras and me will not end until one of us is dead!" Kurohane shouted to Cyttorak. "I want the real Devil to be determined between the two of us. Do you understand?"

"I swear on the name of Cyttorak, between me and the Underworld God, Sithorn, there will definitely be a fight to the death! It won't end until one of us is dead!"

Without thinking, Cyttorak immediately punched Sithorn in the face.
