The Devil's Bazaar was a dark red land that seemed to be soaked in blood, giving off a sweet smell mixed with the aroma of sulfur. A comfortable environment for the Hell Lords. Kurohane walked alone in front of the meeting hall, wearing a black robe entirely made of pure dark energy, a way to show his "Dormammu" identity.
After Strange and Clea agreed to his approach, they chose to wait in the Dark Dimension, ready to provide assistance when Kurohane needed it. They finally understood that these Hell Lords would sooner or later set their sights on Earth.
However, what truly convinced Strange were two arguments from Kurohane: facts and truth. What could Strange do if he couldn't defeat Kurohane? Besides, Kurohane was not a bad guy. He would fight the Hell Lords, but he would not harm the Earth. As the former Sorcerer Supreme, Strange knew exactly what to do.
Next, Strange met Mordo in the Dark Dimension, and now the two were checking the books. They were not from the same universe, but who knows what they could find by checking the books together!
Kurohane's disguise as Dormammu was a deliberate ruse. In the Devil's Bazaar, everyone was an expert in dark energy, so they could easily see through this little disguise. His plan was to disguise himself as a fat lamb, one that seemed harmless. He would lure one or two less-than-intelligent Hell Lords. Once they took the bait, he would tear off his lambskin and transform into a Tyrannosaurus Rex!
Kurohane's disguise succeeded in keeping some small demons away. The dark energy on his robe was too pure, at least Hell Lord level. These small demons only acted as servants. Kurohane ignored them and walked directly towards the center of the Devil's Bazaar, where the Hell Lords held their regular meetings.
"Dormammu? I've never seen your normal physical form. Which poor human have you possessed?"
Kurohane was surprised. A red demon suddenly appeared next to him. His eyes were filled with hellfire, his skin and robe were red, and his black hair was as black as ink. This was not a small demon.
"Who are you, this red demon?" Kurohane asked.
The red demon looked at Kurohane strangely. "Dormammu, now is not the time for jokes. Our meeting is about to begin!"
"I'm not joking. A while ago, someone invaded my dimension and took away some of my memories. I don't remember many things now. If I wasn't smart, I might have died already. I came here this time just to find my good brother in Hell. Let him go with me to regain my place! But... I can't remember who that good brother is..."
Mephisto, the red demon, smiled. "So that's it! It's a good thing you met me. Otherwise, you would be in trouble. My name is Mephisto, and I am your best brother!"
"Oh! So you are my good brother?!" A flash of light passed through Kurohane's eyes. He opened his arms and gave Mephisto a tight hug. He let himself be fooled, because he knew Mephisto was a good target.
