Following Kurohane's words, all the Illuminati members lost their composure. A faint sense of fear, one they rarely felt, now gripped them. They could sense the immense power emanating from him, and his confirmation as the Lord of the Dark Dimension, capable of destroying planets, put them all on high alert. No normal human would be so calm when discussing the fate of billions of lives.
"So, you're here to destroy our planet?" Captain America asked while clutching the Infinity Gauntlet in his hand. Only the six Infinity Stones gave him a slight sense of security.
Kurohane shook his head, then pointed a finger at the ceiling. "When you see a red Earth appear above your heads, you'll understand everything I said today. Strange," he turned to Doctor Strange, "remember this spell." He took out a card from his pocket and handed it to him. "If you encounter a problem you truly can't solve, you can call me with this spell. Honestly, I kind of like you guys."
After smiling at Strange, he put his shield back. His figure slowly disappeared from the sight of all the Illuminati members, as if he had never been there. Strange stared at the card in his hand, stunned for a moment, then couldn't help but smile.
A very curious Tony approached. "Show me, what spell is it?"
"This is a spell that summons a Lord of Dimensions. This spell has been modified, so you basically don't have to pay any price to get his attention," Strange replied.
"Then what's so funny?"
"Because Kurohane is not the lord of the dark dimension," Strange smiled, "He is the lord of the holy dimension."
"Huh?!" Everyone was shocked.
"The spells used to summon Lords from different dimensions are often very different, but the energy they exert is also different. With this card, I can only connect with divine energy. Mr. Kurohane is very likely to be an incarnation of the Vishanti Trinity, an entity of absolute goodness," Strange explained.
"Then why did he say he was the Lord of the Dark Dimension?" Tony asked. "Are all gods this unreliable?"
Strange shrugged. "Because they are a trinity of gods, it's normal for there to be a playful and mischievous personality." To Strange, Kurohane was a breath of fresh air. He was used to dealing with demonic beings, and Kurohane was the first one who liked to joke around. He had to find a way to steal a little energy from his dimension!
Kurohane didn't know what Strange was thinking. He let the spatial power take him. As the space around him changed, he realized he was still on Earth. He used telepathy to look at a pedestrian's memory and found he was still in the 616 universe, but this was the version from the movies and TV series. Iron Man, Captain America, Black Widow, and the entire old generation of Avengers had disbanded. Currently, Captain America's shield was held by a retired veteran named Walker. Kurohane understood, he was in the timeline of The Falcon and The Winter Soldier series.
He scratched his head. "It's better not to go to the New York Sanctuary to look for Strange." He knew Strange was on a date with Dormammu's daughter, so he didn't want to disturb him. "It's better to look for that crosstalk duo first!"
He opened a portal and appeared in a forest. In front of him, he saw Bucky and Sam free-falling from a plane without a parachute. With the help of his vibranium arm and the trees, Bucky landed hard on the ground.
Sam, who was controlling his small drone, Redwing, mocked Bucky. "That was the best emergency landing I've ever seen. You're much more talented than Steve."
"I hate you," Bucky mumbled while glaring at the drone. "Sooner or later I'll destroy that piece of garbage of yours!"
"It won't take long, I can help you destroy it now."
Kurohane suddenly appeared behind them. He threw a strange vibranium shield, shattering the Redwing drone into a ball of fire. The shield spun back into his hand.
"That's great, Steve... wait, who are you?!" A shocked Bucky got up and took a defensive stance. He recognized the shield but not the face.
"My name is Kurohane, and I'm from another universe... Sneak attack, huh?"
Just as Kurohane was about to introduce himself, Sam attacked him from the air. His machine gun fired indiscriminately at Kurohane, but the vibranium shield blocked everything. The bullets ricocheted, spraying sparks, and the HYDRA logo on the shield shone brightly.
