Chapter 207 - Chapter 207

After Loki led the Chitauri army to attack New York, he was cast down to Earth, a fate orchestrated by Kurohane to give him a chance at a mortal life. However, as his father, Odin still asked Heimdall, the guardian of Asgard's gate, to keep an eye on him. Time passed without incident until half an hour ago, when Loki disappeared. Heimdall, who should have been able to see all the gods in the Nine Realms, couldn't find a trace of him at all. Asgard, powerless in the face of this mystery, could only ask for help from its ally on Earth, Kamar-Taj, or more accurately, from Kurohane.

In the midst of a lively pool party at the Avengers headquarters, the atmosphere suddenly changed. A flash of rainbow light, the Rainbow Bridge, appeared on top of Stark Tower, stopping the music and laughter. All the Avengers members were instantly on high alert, except for Kurohane, who was just staring casually with a glass of juice in his hand. From the flash of light, Sylvie emerged with a look of anxiety.

"Kurohane, the Wizard," she said, her voice filled with urgency, "Loki is gone."

Kurohane nodded, placing his glass on the edge of the pool. He raised his hand, his wrist flashing with a burst of energy. He tried to open a portal to Loki's location but failed. His usually relaxed face was now serious. Even with his power as a Master of Two Dimensions, he couldn't find someone. This was no small matter, this was a dangerous anomaly.

"Mr. Kurohane, you can't find him either?" Sylvie, who saw Kurohane fall silent, became even more tense.

Kurohane shook his head. "Yes, I can't find him either, but I can take you to see someone. Maybe she can find Loki's whereabouts."

Wanda's voice suddenly came from behind Kurohane. She was holding the magic notebook written by The Ancient One in her hand. "Is it Master The Ancient One? I want to meet her too!"

Kurohane turned to Wanda. "Then change your clothes, I'll take you there."

"Kurohane, is there a problem?" Tony and Steve walked over together. Their faces were serious. Loki's disappearance was not a good sign. The memory of the Battle of New York was still fresh in their minds. "Do you need our help?"

"I can't feel his presence on Earth," Kurohane replied, his gaze sweeping across the night sky. "Maybe something is concealing him. Please keep an eye on Earth for me, and let me know if there are any clues."

"The question is, how do we contact you?" Tony stared at the communication watch on Kurohane's wrist. Kurohane didn't take it off even when he changed into his swimming trunks. Jarvis also confirmed the object was not Earth technology. It was a personal electronic terminal that could conduct interstellar communication. It was truly amazing!

Kurohane knew exactly what Tony meant, but he couldn't give him the watch. The thing would be useful when he went into outer space. Besides, Tony must have already gotten technical information from the Skrull spacecraft. So Kurohane pretended not to understand.

"Jarvis already has my contact information, you can contact me directly later. If not, just call. I don't plan on leaving Earth anytime soon, so just call. Remember to pay my phone bill!"

"Can't you lend me the thing on your wrist to study?!"

"No!"

London. A quiet reception room inside Kamar-Taj.

The Ancient One was sitting in front of her desk, holding a quill pen and writing down her magical experiences. After Kurohane allowed her to use the Dark Energy from the Dark Dimension, her achievements in black magic increased rapidly. New ideas kept popping up, and she had to quickly write them down.

A portal with sparks appeared in front of her. Kurohane emerged from it with Wanda and Sylvie. Pietro chose to stay. He said the Avengers were very interesting and he wanted to help them. He wasn't interested in magic and just asked Kurohane to take good care of Wanda. He trusted Kurohane very much. Before he left, Kurohane specifically instructed Tony, if Pietro wanted to buy something, just deduct it from his dividends. "You finally got out of a bad place like Sokovia, don't be stingy when you should be enjoying life!" Pietro immediately understood Kurohane's plan for Wanda. No one in this world was more suitable for Kurohane!

The Ancient One looked at the three who had suddenly appeared in confusion. Kurohane immediately stated his purpose. Loki's disappearance not only affected Asgard but also The Ancient One. Her world could continue to exist safely because there was a God of Stories supporting it. Now that Loki had disappeared, the two of them couldn't help but worry.

"Alright, I might be able to find a way to locate the missing Loki," The Ancient One said after thinking for a moment. "Sylvie, I need a strand of your hair to cast the spell."

"Okay," Sylvie replied. After witnessing The Ancient One's power, she had absolute trust in her magic. She pulled out a strand of hair and handed it over.

The Ancient One's spiritual power surged out, making Sylvie's hair emit a golden light. After a few strange and twisted runes floated in the air, the hair turned into a portal shimmering with sparks.

"Loki is in there, but I suggest, except for Kurohane, you don't go there. That's not a place for you to meddle in." Wanda and Sylvie frowned. What The Ancient One said was very intimidating, because even The Ancient One herself didn't intend to go through the portal. "It might be the end of everything, it's too dangerous."

"Then don't go there, I'll go take a look first and will let you know when I come back." Kurohane didn't show the slightest hint of fear. He took out the Mind Stone and handed it to Wanda, whispering, "I might be gone for a while, please keep this for me. You can play with the other two here if you like."

Kurohane's words were very unsettling. Wanda subconsciously grabbed his hand. She didn't know how valuable the gem Kurohane gave her was, but she felt that the gem was definitely not as important as Kurohane!

"Is it dangerous?"

"Then it would be a bit painful for me to tell you the truth!" Kurohane spread his hands, shrugging his shoulders deliberately, and smiled. "Look at the entire universe, the only person who can stand shoulder to shoulder with me is Steve Rogers."
