Chapter 120 - Chapter 120

As Kurohane stomped down fiercely, a sharp crack echoed through the air of Knowhere, and Yondu's left leg snapped with a gruesome sound. His screams of agony resonated endlessly, blending with the din of the black market. After all, Yondu was a top-tier Ravager leader who had brought disaster to… no, dominated a region, and his name was well-known throughout the Galaxy. But now, he could only lie on the ground, clutching his shattered lower leg and wailing, the brainwave amplifier on his head having been brutally plucked out by Kurohane with a swift, decisive motion.

As for that terrifying whistle arrow, Kurohane had already tucked it into his Space Ring. He planned to sell it to Collector Tivan for a good price later! He would sell it as a set, including the brainwave amplifier!

"The whistle arrow might look like it's controlled by whistling, but it's actually controlled by a brainwave amplifier on one's head," Kurohane muttered to himself, recalling his knowledge of alien technology. "This is why Yondu kept saying he controlled the whistle arrow with his heart; Yondu himself has a bit of Telepathy. However, he can't control the whistle arrow with just that, so he needs to wear a brainwave amplifier on his head. Combined with the native sound-sensitive metal from his hometown, this is how he gets this magical whistle arrow."

"This isn't particularly high-tech or widely applicable, but it has significant collectible value!" Kurohane smirked, a lucrative business idea flashing through his mind. "Therefore, Collector Tivan will surely love it!"

When Yondu's subordinates saw his leg break, they instinctively drew various weapons, the sound of scraping metal filling the air. They aimed them at Kurohane and the Dark Elves behind him, a tangible threat. Kurohane ignored them, but the Dark Elves reacted. It was one thing for these people to point weapons at the Dark Elves, but if they pointed weapons at Kurohane, if they, as Saints, didn't react at all, they would have a difficult time later! So the Dark Elves also drew their weapons, and both sides stood facing each other with daggers poised to escalate into a shootout at the slightest dispute!

However, the Ravagers each had their own intentions. Besides a few of Yondu's loyalists, most of them followed him because he could help them make money, and also because they were threatened by Yondu's power. Now, Yondu was pinned to the ground with a broken leg, not only losing his famous weapon but also losing face!

"Even if he manages to survive this encounter with the terrifying Kurohane, he won't have the face to be their leader in the future," thought one Ravager, his eyes glancing at the others, a cold calculation evident. "Subordinates who follow such a disgraced leader will feel inferior to others when they go out!"

"Unless... Yondu can defeat Kurohane in public and wipe away his shame." But, judging from Kurohane's action of catching the flying arrow barehanded just now, his personal combat ability was among the best in the entire Galaxy. Yondu had no hope for that in his lifetime!

So for these Ravagers, the most important thing now wasn't saving Yondu's life, but how to gain the greatest benefits for themselves! For example: kill Kurohane, the great demon king who defeated their previous leader! That way, they could become the new team leader! Thus, most of the muzzles in their hands were aimed at Kurohane, murderous intent clearly radiating.

But Kurohane was not to be underestimated. Due to his [Death Marksman] skill, he was highly sensitive to the murderous intent emanating from gun muzzles and sensed the malicious intentions of this group of Ravagers. While watching movies in his previous life, Kurohane knew that Yondu's subordinates had touching loyalty, but he didn't expect these aliens to attack him so quickly! "Hydra doesn't even want people like these; they'd rather kill them!" Kurohane growled inwardly, a bitter sneer gracing his lips.

He grabbed the back of Yondu's collar with his right hand, lifted him off the ground, and used him as a human shield in front of him. Then his left hand had already donned the Infinity Gauntlet, ensuring he was in an invincible position first.

The Infinity Stones were indeed highly sought after in the universe, but one of Kurohane's goals in coming to Knowhere was to spread the news that he possessed Infinity Stones! Those interested in Infinity Stones, besides the leaders of major forces like Thanos and Collector Tivan, were mostly interstellar bandit groups like the Ravagers, each with a large stack of bounty posters on their heads. "I can easily get Justice points and bounty money without having to search the universe myself; these guys will automatically come to me!"

"That black-haired kid, hurry up and put down our Chief!" shouted Kraglin, one of Yondu's loyalists, his voice cracking with tension. He was the one who inherited the whistle arrow after Yondu's death. Though his legs trembled like a sieve, and his shaking muzzle was aimed at Yondu with every tremor, he still pointed his weapon towards Kurohane. He lacked ability and courage, but he was loyal!

"Hydra doesn't want subordinates like that either. What's the point of just being loyal? You have to have some skills!" Kurohane thought, a touch of amusement, irony flashing through his mind.

Only now did Kurohane have time to carefully examine Yondu's subordinates. He found that although these people looked strange and diverse, there were still some familiar faces, like that ugly guy with the electric face...

He clenched the gauntlet on his left hand tightly, and the power of the Reality Stone activated! A strange red light enveloped the Ravagers, pulsating like a beating heart. The physical structures of the Ravagers on the opposite side shifted, contracting and folding. They all transformed into stacks of toilet paper piled together, undulating and fragile. Although there was no life-threatening danger, they completely lost the ability to move! The only movable parts of their bodies were the eyes on the surface of the toilet paper, which bulged in horror.

The messy weapons scattered everywhere on the ground, clattering down. Energy weapons that hadn't been properly maintained even misfired, striking an unknown person and flying off somewhere with trails of black smoke billowing!

Kurohane: (Looking up at the sky, slightly surprised, raising his eyebrows.) "Vishanti protect, I hope the person who caught that didn't die!"

"What are you doing?" Kurohane turned to the Dark Elves, his voice calm yet commanding, an undeniable tone. "Gather all these weapons and tie everyone up. See if any of them are on the wanted list. Make sure not to kill them; dead people are worthless!"

Kurohane's display of power stunned everyone. He was incredibly strong and unwilling to negotiate. This kind of person really didn't fit into Knowhere's money-first environment, and it seemed he was here specifically to claim bounties! "From today onwards, a terrifying great white shark has been added to the swimming pool that is Knowhere," muttered a merchant in the distance, his voice filled with fear.

The onlookers suddenly felt a chill down their spines. No good people mingled in Knowhere. If your head wasn't adorned with bounty posters and rewards from several planets, you'd definitely be looked down upon when drinking at a bar! Seeing these pale-faced Dark Elves actually start tying people up, they also realized that Kurohane was serious! So they quietly moved towards the edge of the crowd, their steps cautious. Soon, the entire scene was left with only Kurohane and his group, and the Ravagers, safely bound, looking like piles of cloth.

The Dark Elves were adept at tying people up and also at stuffing various things into everyone's mouths. Ensuring that besides "woo woo woo," they couldn't make any other sounds! As for the tools used for tying and gagging, they were, of course, all from the Ravagers themselves!

Looking at the sacks of weapons on each Dark Elf's back and the tightly bound Ravagers, Kurohane nodded in satisfaction. "It's a bit troublesome to carry these criminals around. Let's take these criminals to our spacecraft first. Otherwise, Collector Tivan might think these are gifts, and that would be troublesome. I'm easily offended; I'd be too embarrassed not to give them."

Dark Elf 1: (In a bewildered tone, eyes blinking.) "But Boss, our ship just exploded!"
