CHAPTER 5
Men! Move out. Diablo commanded the troops to move out. Along the way Ken thought to himself ' To think that we need so many soldiers to conquer one Kingdom, it is devastating indeed.'
Along the way they stopped at a nearby village that was on Ken's side to get enough food for the rest of the journey ahead. When they where close to the Marina Kingdom they were met with over 5000 soldiers.
What's this, an ambush? Diablo asked as he was shocked. Yes Diablo it is an ambush and Herald knew about it. KEN said then turned to look at Herald. My lord you suspect me, I swear i had nothing to do with it. Herald said to try and defend himself. The master never said you had anything to do with it,he just said you new about it. Diablo replied.
Damn you.Yes I knew about it because these are the soldiers that are under my command. See I came to your kingdom as a spy to dig up some info about you and how to defeat you. Herald then laughed. I knew, nothing surprising. I mean have you ever heard of an arch demon that doesn't use magic, no right? Ken smirked as he said those words.
But how? I was so obedient I showed no connection to the outside world. Herald was scared but more confused. Well your obedience was a bit frightening, and the fact that you had no connection to the outside world gave you away. Ken replied.
Herald was shocked by those words
Herald went over to his army of the Marina kingdom. He looked scared as he was confused. He gave a signal for the army to attack. The spear-men moved forward with their spears facing forward, they were wearing heavy armour that shines without fail. Behind them wer the mages wearing sky blue robes and each holding a magic wand that represented the type of magic they use. The mages started to cast their spells.
Diablo was so angered he went bersek. He snapped his fingers and the magic disappeared. The soldiers and mages of the Marina kingdom wre all frightened by this sight. They were all shaking in their armour.
Diablo show them hell. Ken said to Diablo with a smirk on his face. Yes my Lord, I shall Diablo replied.
Diablo flew slightly above them and said 'i shall start the disposal of you trash. He conjured a magic circle that screamed death to all those around him. Behold you lower life forms you are to be purged by the Devil himself, i Diablo have been given the honor of showing you hell before you depart into the after life.
Then they saw a death clown carrying a death scythe ready to harvest all their souls. As the clown slowly moved out of the dark magic circle the soldiers were terrified to the point that a few of them died from feeling such an intense aura, the rest just stood there paralyzed not knowing what to do.
They felt their courage and bravery leave their bodies. They had no will to fight or run. The death clown stared at the leader of the soldiers and smiled.Then man all of a sudden his heart stopped. He fell to the ground grasping on his chest, for what felt like moment his life flashed before his eyes and death was lurking everywhere in his flashback of life.
Herald felt his soul leave his body. The death clown started to massacre each and every one of them.Herald was preparing to run away and then his soldiers tried to hold him back.
Sir you can't leave us please. One of the soldiers said as he held on to Heralds leg. Well I am sorry to be the one to tell you this but due to an unfortunate and an entirely unforeseeable sequence circumstancial events that fortunately have nothing whatsoever to do with me you are going to die. Herald looked down as he said those words and cut the arm that was held him.
Herald whistled for his horse to come. It came running and it was met with diablo who showed it the face of despair. The horse collapsed due to a heart attack.
