(Third Person POV)
The next day at noon.
Orlax was standing in the middle of the training yard, swinging his sword.
Each swing looked identical to the one before, perfectly executed.
Sweat poured down his body from exhaustion, but he didn't care and continued his training with unwavering focus.
"Where were you yesterday? Everyone waited for you, but you didn't show up in the end."
Orlax stopped swinging his sword and looked toward the entrance of the training yard, where Alice stood with her arms crossed under her chest.
"I was busy with a few things and couldn't make it."
Orlax resumed swinging his sword, and silence filled the space.
"Tsk, that's all? At least give a reason why you didn't come."
Alice clicked her tongue in annoyance, prompting Orlax to pull back his sword and approach her.
"What do you want me to say? I was busy and couldn't come. That's it. Don't say useless things."
