Ju Zi also became troubled. What worried her most was the Body Sect Master, Du Busi. If he fought with all his might, no one could predict the consequences. The only weakness of the Sun Moon army around Heavenly Soul City was the lack of top-level spirit masters who could restrain or kill Du Busi.
And it was not yet the right time to deploy Elder Kong Deming. He needed to remain stationed at the Sun Moon Palace to keep the restless Holy Spirit Cult forces in check once the great war broke out.
While everyone was feeling at a loss, the tent flap was suddenly lifted, and a soldier in full power armor strode in, loudly announcing,
"Reporting! Sun Moon Empire Chief Designer and Star Luo War Zone Commander, Lord Huo Yuhao, requests an audience with Empress Marshal!"
Everyone present was stunned.
Now, the name Chief Designer was famous across the empire. Huo Yuhao, who commanded the First and Second Corps in the Star Luo War Zone, was well-known to all.
'Why is he here? Isn't he supposed to be restraining the Star Luo Empire's forces?' they wondered.
"Huo Yuhao..." Ju Zi murmured the name, feeling both strange and familiar. When she first met him years ago, she had already sensed he was destined for greatness. Yet even then, she could never have imagined he would reach such heights.
"Quickly, invite him in," Ju Zi said after a moment's thought, her heart rising with a hint of expectation.
'Why would Huo Yuhao come here now? Could it be he already knows of our current predicament?' she wondered, her hopes rising.
Ever since learning of Huo Yuhao's tragic and hatred-filled past, Ju Zi had developed a faint empathy toward him. After all, the object of both their hatred was Duke Dai Hao.
Of course, she had no idea — Duke Dai Hao was actually Huo Yuhao's biological father.
"Yes, ma'am!" the soldier replied, leaving promptly.
Shortly after, he returned, leading a beaming Huo Yuhao into the military tent.
