Chapter 355 - Chapter 356: Ōtsutsuki Kaguya

Black Zetsu's expression shifted. He was now almost certain of Kaito's identity, and his mind was already racing on how to deal with him once Kaguya revived.

Madara, on the other hand, looked utterly dumbfounded. He had never even heard of "Ōtsutsuki Kaguya" before—the name was completely foreign to him.

At the same time, he ignored the hand Kaito had placed firmly on his shoulder.

While Madara was frozen in confusion, a sudden, powerful suction burst forth from Kaito's palm. By the time Madara reacted, half of the Ten Tails had already been ripped out of his body.

The Ten Tails within Kaito stirred violently—it craved Madara's Ten Tails as the perfect nourishment. It opened its massive jaws eagerly.

Black Zetsu watched in horror as the Ten Tails poured into Kaito's body. It was more painful than death itself.

Ignoring the gap in strength, he lunged at Kaito like a madman.

But before he could even touch the hem of Kaito's robe, he was blasted away by a repelling force.

Struggling back to his feet, he looked toward Kaito in despair.

By now, two-thirds of Madara's Ten Tails had already been pulled out, and the rest was about to follow.

Suddenly, a woman's voice echoed in Kaito's mind.

"Please… don't feed me to the Ten Tails!"

"Hm?"

Kaito raised a brow, pausing his actions.

In his heart, he replied,

"Ōtsutsuki Kaguya?"

"It's me! Senior, I beg you, spare me—I'll serve you!"

"Heh… I'm hardly your 'senior.' You're far older than me."

Kaito teased lightly, then continued,

"If I recall, you once followed Ōtsutsuki Isshiki, didn't you? You should know very well how that ended for him."

Kaguya fell silent. She knew her own "glorious history" all too well—an undeniable stain.

A wave of despair filled her heart. Was this truly her end?

Just as she was sinking into hopelessness, Kaito's tone shifted.

"Well, on second thought… having an Ōtsutsuki servant doesn't sound too bad."

"!?"

Kaguya was completely thrown off, stunned into silence.

Kaito chuckled softly.

"What's wrong? Cat got your tongue? Regretting it already?"

She snapped out of it and hurriedly replied,

"No! I'm willing—I'll be your most loyal servant!"

Kaguya didn't hesitate for a moment, practically throwing herself at the chance to serve him.

After all, he had just admitted that he was younger than her, yet his power had already surpassed her by far.

The Ten Tails within him was even more overwhelming—it wasn't something an ordinary Ten Tails could compare to.

Putting everything together, she saw Kaito as a once-in-ten-thousand-years prodigy of the Ōtsutsuki clan.

Acknowledging someone like him as her master was no disgrace—it was the smartest choice she could make.

Besides, if she stood by Kaito, perhaps even her betrayal of Isshiki could be forgiven. No more living in fear—she could finally be free.

Kaito himself thought it fitting. As an Ōtsutsuki, it felt only proper to have an Ōtsutsuki servant at his side. Otherwise, something always felt lacking.

And so, by mutual consent, Kaito and Kaguya formed a master-servant bond.

The only remaining problem was how to bring Kaguya back completely.

In truth, it wasn't really "revival"—she had never died in the first place. She had merely been sealed away by her two "good sons."

Kaito had no intention of using Madara's body as a vessel. That was simply too awkward.

Instead, he chose the most direct approach.

Since Kaguya had been sealed by Yin-Yang Release, then naturally, Yin-Yang Release could also unseal her.

And the Yin-Yang Release that Kaito commanded was far stronger than that of Hagoromo and Hamura.

With that thought, he pressed his palms together. Yin-Yang power surged through his hands, gathering into a stream of intertwined black and white light. It shot from his body straight into the heavens.

Far away, on the moon, the surface began trembling violently. Toneri, who had been watching Earth, shot to his feet, his face dark.

"No… that woman's seal—it's being undone!"

He wanted to stop it, but without even his eyes, he was powerless before the force of Yin-Yang Release pouring from Earth.

The moon shook harder and harder until, with a sharp crack, a mass of pure white energy burst forth from its core, hurtling toward Earth.

On Earth, Kaito had by now completely ripped the Ten Tails out of Madara. As the white energy descended, it merged with the beast.

The Ten Tails radiated a soft, milky-white glow, forming a massive sphere of light.

Gradually, the sphere shrank, its shape molding into a human form.

When the light finally faded, Ōtsutsuki Kaguya stood before them.

Black Zetsu stared blankly, unable to comprehend what had just happened.

He had thought his "mother" was gone forever—yet here she was, alive before his very eyes.

Madara collapsed to the ground, his Rinnegan fading back into ordinary black pupils. He was completely drained.

Kaguya's first act upon appearing was to turn toward Kaito.

Under Black Zetsu's stunned gaze, she fell to her knees and bowed respectfully.

"Master!"

Kaito nodded and, with a flicker of movement, appeared directly in front of her.

She remained kneeling. Black Zetsu, panicking, transformed into a black liquid and rushed toward her sleeve.

"Mother! What's happening to you!?" he cried desperately.

Kaguya shook her head softly.

"I'm fine."

"But you just called him Master—"

"Silence! From this moment on, Kaito-sama is my master. You must never forget that!"

Hearing her declaration, Black Zetsu dared not argue further. No matter how confused he was, he swallowed his words and fell quiet.

Kaito, pleased with Kaguya's obedience, waved his hand.

"Alright, you may rise."

She obeyed at once, slipping seamlessly into the role of a servant.

Kaito's hair extended suddenly, wrapping around Madara's limp body. Lifting him effortlessly, Kaito soared back toward the Allied Shinobi Forces.

Kaguya immediately followed.

When the three of them returned to the rear, Minato quickly approached.

He eyed Kaguya warily before turning to Kaito.

"Is it over?"

Kaito spread his hands.

"What else do you think?"

By now, aside from Terumī Mei, the other three Kage had already dealt with their predecessors. Ōnoki hesitated, then asked,

"So… we can go back now?"

Kaito smiled.

"Of course you can. But before that—there's one more thing I need to say."
