Mika looks at her phone and sees Kiki's name. She smiles, but there's fear too. Kiki could bring good news and want to chat. Although, they often say it's Kiki who has to deliver the bad news. "Is everything going okay?" Kiki asks cheerfully. "I hope so," Mika replies, her voice trembling. "Good news—I'm coming to help you guys." Kiki is thrilled to be allowed to help! She has long brown hair tied in two high ponytails and wears an oversized shirt with all kinds of prints on the back. Always seen in baggy pants and with a huge smile on her face. "Mika, I'm so excited!" she repeats enthusiastically. Mika wants to know why MKP is letting Kiki help. It's not that she doesn't like her, but she really wanted to do it on her own.
"Kiki, you never let me down—I know you can do it!" says someone wearing a secretive white mask with a wide grin, looking at her. Kiki fiddles with her eyepatch. She had to take a test involving monsters that destroy you from the inside out by triggering your worst nightmare. They pulled her out too late, and she lost her right eye—the same story as Maggy. "Does your eye hurt?" the man with the mask asks. Kiki shakes her head. "It's annoying, but it doesn't hurt." The masked, man stands beside her—no one knows his name. He tugs at Kiki's shirt. "We already lost Alice, Maggie, and Yowie to the mission you're going to take over. That's why it's important that you do it." "I don't want to," sighs Kiki. "But I'll go." She pulls deadly fluid injectors from her pastel pink handbag and skips out the door.
Mika glances at Amy—did she overhear the phone call? She's not allowed to speak. She can't say anything. But when they step off the tram and Amy gives her an angry look, Mika knows it's not going to end well. Even though Wesley hasn't noticed a thing.
