Chapter 5 - Chapter 4: Inheriting the Storm

While Chaos Navaro focused on the physical aspects of Kaelen's training, his father, Victor, took on the responsibility of guiding him in the volatile art of the Crimson Judgment. The training took place in a vast, open area within the Space-Time Mirror, a simulated storm-ravaged landscape where the air crackled with raw energy.

Victor Navaro was a formidable figure, his presence radiating the controlled fury of a brewing storm. His mastery of the Crimson Judgment was evident in the precise arcs of lightning that danced around his fingertips, the low rumble of thunder that seemed to emanate from his very being. He approached his son with a stern but patient demeanor.

"The Scarlet Storm is a force of immense power, Kaelen," Victor began, his voice carrying over the simulated winds. "It is not a toy to be trifled with. It demands respect, control, and a clear understanding of its destructive potential. Unlike the brute force of your grandfather's Titan Body, this ability is about focused energy, about channeling divine wrath."

His initial lessons revolved around feeling the energy, the raw, untamed power that resided within him. Kaelen would close his eyes, focusing on the tingling sensation that ran through his veins, the subtle crackling in the air around him. Victor guided him in drawing this energy forth, visualizing it as crimson lightning, a stark contrast to the natural blue or white of typical electricity.

"See it, Kaelen," Victor instructed. "Feel its heat, its intensity. It is an extension of your will, a manifestation of your inner fire. But fire, uncontrolled, consumes everything in its path. You must learn to shape it, to direct it, to make it obey your commands."

He started with simple exercises, having Kaelen summon small sparks of crimson lightning, then gradually increasing their size and intensity. The air around them would sizzle, and the simulated ground would char where the energy touched. Victor emphasized precision, teaching him to focus the lightning into thin, piercing beams and wide, destructive arcs.

"The Skybrand Markings are key," Victor explained, pointing to the faint, runic patterns that had begun to appear on Kaelen's skin – a visual manifestation of his connection to the Scarlet Storm. "These are your conduits, your foci. Learn to channel the energy through them, to summon lightning from any point on your body, at any time."

He demonstrated the technique, crimson lightning erupting from his palms, his back, even his fingertips, striking distant targets with pinpoint accuracy. Kaelen struggled at first, the energy feeling wild and unpredictable, but with his father's patient guidance and the accelerated time within the Mirror, his control steadily improved.

Victor also emphasized the "Judgment" aspect of the ability. He explained that the Scarlet Storm wasn't just random destruction; it could be a force of retribution. He taught Kaelen to focus his intent, to imbue the lightning with his will to strike down injustice and protect the innocent. While the "Judgment Arcs" that targeted "sin" were a more advanced application, the underlying principle of righteous intent was crucial from the beginning.

As Kaelen's control grew, Victor began to introduce him to more advanced techniques. He taught him to form the Storm Sovereign Form, a transformation into a being of living lightning, granting incredible speed and immunity to physical attacks. The feeling was exhilarating, a rush of pure energy, but maintaining the form required intense concentration.

He also began to train Kaelen in the initial stages of "Nationfall: Crimson Wrath Judgment," though the full unleashing of such power was far beyond his current capabilities. They practiced summoning localized crimson storms, learning to control the density of the clouds, the intensity of the lightning strikes, and the sheer destructive force they could unleash.

Under Victor's tutelage, Kaelen began to understand the true potential of the Crimson Judgment. It wasn't just about raw power; it was about precision, intent, and the ability to channel a force of divine wrath. The inherited storm within him was slowly but surely coming under his command, guided by the steady hand of his father.
