"I still can't be really sure about our success. But he's not some entity we can ignore in our way." Aizis replied.
He frowned his eyebrows and looked ahead intently as he was lost in a deep sea of thoughts. Then he brought his gaze to us and spoke up, "Why do I have a feeling that something unexpected is going to happen?"
"Something unexpected?" I asked instantly out of wonder.
Aizis nodded and spoke, "Yes. But I really don't know what it is."
"I believe it's your unnecessary, intrusive fear. Let's just go ahead and do what we should do." Elesia replied from behind. She was standing behind us calmly as she stepped ahead a bit to us while speaking.
"She's right." Raizel said casually.
"Fear is a person's weakness. No matter how strong or weak our opponent is, we can never win as long as we can't defeat the fear we're holding, the fear that's preventing us from ascension." Raizel added later on, without leaving any trace of expression.
"I have no words left from my side. Like I always said, I will follow you guys as long as I'm alive. That's my promise to you guys, and I will definitely keep it intact." I said calmly, my voice appeared casual along with a little wave of strength flowing within it.
"If so, then I don't have anything else to reply. I believe those words will never fade away; they'll stand as a shield for Raizel." Aizis said following my sentence.
"You can surely win the bet on my words." I replied with a narrow smile.
Then I saw a table in the corner of the castle room. It was a table with multiple types of fruit decorated there on different plates, and a knife out there. On the other part of the table, I saw breads, types of juices, and different types of snacks out there, decorated similarly to the fruits. Pretty sure Raizel received them from the country nobles as his breakfast. However, they were still the way they were put there; Raizel didn't touch any of the snacks.
I stepped forward to the table and smiled a bit. I took the knife from the table and began to slice up the apples one by one.
"Why are you still fasting? It's over 11 now." I asked Raizel calmly.
"I didn't feel like eating anything; I didn't want to." Raizel replied casually.
I took a deep sigh. Then I took two pieces of bread with jelly, a banana, and sliced apple on a plate. I lifted up the plate and stepped ahead to Raizel. While he was sitting on the throne, I placed the plate on the table in front of him.
"Eat something. I don't know why you are so careless about yourself recently, but I don't want to see this in my presence." I said roughly, staring at Raizel's eyes narrowly.
Then I stepped back to the meal-decorated table and lifted up an apple, then I began to slice it like earlier.
A piece of golden magic potion appeared on my left side, in the open space inside the room. Within moments, a figure appeared there with flashing golden magic presence. It was the person from the dream world, the one who assaulted Elesia's retainer and caused Elesia's survival there, the Absolute Spirit who stands above every type of spirit, the ruler of the Absolute Realm, the golden saint from the 5th layer, Arfanez.
As soon as he appeared there, I instantly threw the knife from my hand toward his head with incredible speed. But he effortlessly grabbed the knife and slowly stared at me.
"Please don't be so rude. It seems like we're having a little breakfast season here; mind if I join?" Arfanez remarked, revealing his casual smile on his face.
Marco smiled widely back at him and murmured with a chuckle, "Sure, I would love to add you as a part of the meal. Not as the meal enjoyer, but as a part of the food." Marco narrowed his glare at him in the latter part of his sentence.
"I have no such taste for human's meat." Aizis mocked.
"Oh well, neither do I." Marco replied.
"So will I have the honor to know the person who invited you here? Unfortunately, I failed to remember that person myself." Marco said with a faint and sarcastic smile.
I stepped forward to Arfanez and grabbed his collar intently as I lifted him upward and glared into his eyes deeply.
"Woah, you're really rude to me. I wasn't wishing for something like this from you, Miss Maria." He said calmly while smiling.
"I'm pretty sure we've asked you a certain question earlier; mind answering?" I asked roughly, keeping my gaze intact on him.
Arfanez looked at my eyes gently and smiled a bit. Then he spoke with a quiet smile, "Those glowing eyes aren't supposed to be hostile; they reflect calmness, not chaos."
I threw him away forcefully ahead; though he easily adapted to the force and stood a bit away from me, the faint smile began to lurk on his lips once again.
"My eyes were meant to be calm, but the world forced them into chaos, and so it did to me." I replied calmly, a bit of sadness lingering in my expression.
Arfanez smiled a bit without saying a word. After staring at me for countable moments, he shifted his gaze to Raizel, who was calmly eating the sliced pieces of apple while witnessing things happening in front of him.
Raizel put the fork down on the table after taking a sliced piece of apple in his mouth. Then he raised his gaze at Arfanez and spoke while glaring intently, "Why are you here?"
Arfanez immediately answered, "You know the reason. It's obvious to do."
Then he raised his gaze upward to the castle and said loudly, "I'm here to destroy your final destiny itself."
Raizel lifted up the fork, took a slice of apple in front of his mouth, and said with a smile, "I don't remember having a destiny. Perhaps, you are here to create another reason for chaos?"
"Chaos, you say? I'm afraid it's not going to be me who will cause the chaos, but you, My most honorable being, mister Raizel." Arfanez replied, the presence of anger taunted him a bit as he glared at Raizel with an incredible amount of hatred lurking behind his eyes, trying their best to break the barrier and destroy him.
