— Thalorien's POV —
"Great One!!!"
They screamed at the top of their lungs as blood squirted from all sides of their champion's body. Beneath the grip of my vines, I felt his body go limp, and I couldn't help but smile.
While I have never derived joy from the death of my enemies, I had to admit—this one was quite enjoyable.
This demon alone had killed thousands of soldiers under my command. These were men who trusted me with their lives and had followed me for the past few centuries, yet I couldn't save them.
While his death would not bring them back, I could at least look their families in the eyes and tell them I avenged the deaths of their fathers and brothers.
Shifting my gaze to the small human army approaching, I didn't know what to feel. A number as small as one thousand soldiers could never be enough to deal with my army.
