BANG!
As the final word echoed, a spear of jagged blue light tore from the cloud. Piercing through the magic array, the lightning turned golden as it sped toward the first Kahut at the forefront!
BANG!
The beast screamed, but even its scream was drowned under the loud roaring of thunder. Its thick red fur was charred black. But the terror was far from over, as the golden lightning did the unexpected.
It leapt from the original target and struck the second Kahut, before jumping to the third.
Again.
And again.
But it didn't end with the Kahuts. Once all four were reduced to burnt meat, the lightning went for the orcs, tearing through their ranks as it reduced them to burnt stakes one after the other.
With each impact, a new scream echoed across the battlefield.
With each arc, the scent of scorched blood rose to the heavens.
