As I stared at the monster with its mouth open, I remembered everything I did from my youth to the present, from the good to the bad memories I had.

And the world froze in place.

As the pressure faded, I no longer felt scared and opened my eyes and saw.
The monster in front of me was sliced in half, while some of its flesh was burned.
I was standing there dumb founded as to what had happened, and I smelled a horrible stench that made me cough.
"What happened?!"
"Idk? but what was that light?"
While coughing, I heard my other companion saying something in their language that I do not understand.
And I faced their direction and saw the other monster also cut in half with its flesh burnt.
"What happened? Why are the monsters dead? It's like some kind of sword cuts them in half?"
"And some of their flesh is burnt, so maybe it's some kind of hot or flaming sword that killed them?"
"Wait, is it the voice I heard that did it?"
While mummering about what killed the monsters, I suddenly heard a voice behind me.
"Ctg aqw qm? K jgctf aqw ctg owoogtkpi uqogvjkpi cpf ctg aqw vjg qpg vjcv ecnngf vjcv nkijv k jgctf aqwt xqkeg cu vjcv nkijv crrgctgf."[1] and heard a little girl's voice.
And when I faced her direction, I saw the little girl bruised from when I threw her, still carrying the baby.
"Are you ok? I'm sorry if I threw you." I smiled.
"Is the baby ok??" I stretched my arm to see if the baby was ok.
And when I saw the baby's face, it was sleeping, and then my whole being felt lightened like my burdens were removed.
"Ahhhh, how cute you are," while trying to resist my urge to pinch the baby's cute, chubby cheek.
As I stared at the baby's face, it suddenly woke up and cried, echoing in the cave.
"Wahhhhhhh!!"
"Ohhh S**t! What should we do?! Is it hungry?!"
While I was panicking, the hooded man suddenly ran toward us and stretched her arm and slowly touched the baby's head.
"Lirgo'a"
The hooded man said, and immediately the baby stopped crying and fell asleep.
"Wow, so magic can also be used like that," I muttered, and was fascinated by the unlimited ways to use magic.
'I can't wait to learn magic hehehe.'
Then I noticed the old man still staring and holding his daughter, and the other two trying to find something in the piles of corpses.
"Jga, kv'u jgtg,"[2] shouted the dwarf in front of a corpse.
As I stared deeply at the corpse, I found that it was the wendigo corpse that I saw and thought to myself as to why it is important to the two of them.
'Wait, it's because of the body I remember in fantasy themes, there are always adventurers and adventure guilds that deal with this kind of work because the body of the monster always has some uses and benefits.'
As I thought to myself, I noticed the Indian man ran toward the dwarf and stared at the carcass of the wendigo with its chest open.
"H**M!!" [3]the Indian man suddenly shouted and echoed.
'Why is he angry? Is it because there is something wrong with the corpse?? Wait! Is it the orb?'
Then I got scared.
'Wait, if they found out that I have the orb, they might kill me for stealing something that might be theirs and i cant even defend myself because of language barrier.'
While in my thoughts, everyone suddenly heard multiple fast steps echoing in the cave.
"Kv'u vjg yqnxgu!! Ngv'u iq, gxgtadqfa htqo yjgtg vjg cpguvqg ecog htqo!!"[4] the hooded man shouted and ran toward where the monster came from as everyone followed.
And I carried the little girl and ran behind the group.
As I got tired, a shine flashed before my eyes, and I started to run as fast as I could and without me noticing, I caught up to the group.
Then we all heard the wolves right behind us, running toward us.
"Yjgtg cnoquv vjgtg! Mggr twppkpi! Yg ctg iqppc guecrg vjku ecxg!!"[5]
As we finally stepped outside the cave, we didn't stop because the wolves were still tailing us, but I could see trees as tall as a three-storey house moving.
'Wait, what?!'
Then the sounds of wood breaking could be heard, and immediately everyone stopped in their tracks, and suddenly everyone felt scared and started to shake.
"Yjcv ku vjku hggnkpi?!"[6] the dwarf said.
Then the earth shook, and the sound got louder.
Everyone stared at where the sound came from and behold in the trees a silhouette of a thin, tall being that struck fear in everyone's eyes, staring at us.
'Is that a giant?!'
While staring at each other, the wolves that were trailing us came out of the cave entrance and howled, attracting the giant's attention.
Then the giants took a step and created an earthquake.
And when the wolves saw the giant walking in their direction, the wolves out of fear ran scattering in the trees.
While the giant was distracted, we started to run out of fear of the giant that it might make us its dinner.
We ran and heard many scary things in the woods, and we all got tired from running and started to walk.
And I put the little girl down on the ground because of exhaustion that I knelt on the ground and vomited, and weakened from running.
"Jga, gxgtaqpg! jg'u gzjcwuvgf!"[7] shouted the little girl to get the attention of everyone.
"Jg'u vktgf? Yg qpna tcp cdqwv nkmg 6 okpwvgu?! Jg'u cntgcfa vktgf htqo vjcv?!"[8] said the Indian man in an angry way.
"Jcjcjcjcj! Fqp'v igv ocf, Vatqp, jg'u lwuv c urqkngf, ygcm pqdng,"[9] the dwarf said.
"Uvqr kv, gxgtaqpg, cpf jgnr jko,"[10] the little girl said angrily.
"Qm uvqr kv aqw vyq."[11] said the hooded man.
"Cpf aqw vyq rtqvgev octa cpf lqujwc cpf k yknn ectta vjg ygcm eqyctf vqyctf vjg dcug."[12]
"Qm ngqtf yg ujqwnf jwtta wr, K'o swkvg vktgf htqo vjcv vqtvwtg yg gzrgtkgpegf."[13] said the Indian man
I heard them talking to each other, and when they stopped talking, the hooded man suddenly knelt, showing his back like a piggyback, and the Indian man took and carried the little girl, and the draft took the baby.
And without any choice, I rode the hooded man back, and everyone started to walk.
For the whole journey, I was embarrassed because I was an 18-year-old being carried like a child, and that hurt my pride as a man, but I'm exhausted from running and what happened to me when I came to this terrifying world.
As we walked for hours, I could see the ruins of a once-stone structure.
"Yg ocfg kv, gxgtaqpg, yg lwuv pggf vq hkpf vjg jkffgp fqqt."[14] said the hooded man.
And I could see all of them, even the little girl was trying to find something as the hooded man walked around. I noticed it shining on the ground in the rubble.
'What's that?? Is that what they are trying to find??'
"Hey, is that what you are trying to find?" I pointed in the direction.
The hooded man saw where I was pointing and walked and cleaned the rubble.
When the rubble was clean, I saw a red gem, and the hooded man grabbed it and pulled it.
And the ground opened like a door.
As the dusk faded, I could see a dark basement of some kind.
"Jga, iwau, kv'u qxgt jgtg!!"[15] then the hooded man shouted.
And everyone got closer and stared at the dark basement.
"Ku vjku kv? Vjg uvtwevwtg wugf da vjcv xcpkujgf ocig,"[16] said the dwarf.
"Agu, kv ku, K hktuv vjqwijv qh vjku cu lwuv c rctv qh vjcv hkevkqpcn uvqta, dwv kv'u tgcn cntkijv," [17]the hooded man said and entered the dark basement, still behind him piggybacking.
And the hooded man raised his arm.
"Medura."
A fire came out of thin air, hovering in his hand and lighting the place up.
And I saw a hallway, and there was a single door at the end of it.
Then we walked until we came in front of the door.
'What might be inside?'
As the hooded man held the ring shaped knob he pulled it slowly and we saw a dark room.
And we walked inside, and I noticed a medieval lamp.
"Hey, there's a lamp over there." I pointed to where the lamp was, and the hooded man saw it.
And he walked toward it and lit it with his fire.
When the lamp lit up the room, it suddenly glowed, lighting the whole area.
As we finally saw the room, it had one bed and a shelf with books in it and some glass jars and a table with a candle holder and a book and quill and a cabinet also there's another door on the side of the bed.
Then the hooded man suddenly knelt on the floor beside the bed.
"Igv fqyp cpf vcmg c tguv,"[18] he said to me while gesturing to get down.
When I got down from him, and rested my head on the side of the bed.
"Thank you for carrying me for the whole walk." I thanked him, but he just walked away toward the others. That he clearly doesn't understand me and that embarrasses me.
"Yg ujqwnf gzrnqtg vjg qvjgt fqqt cpf lwuv ftqr Octa cpf Lqujwc qp vjg dgf cpf ngv jko ycvej vjgo."[19]
Then the Indian and the dwarf walked toward me and dropped the little girl, and placed the sleeping baby on the bed.
"Ycvej vjgug vyq, qm. Yg yknn lwuv gzrnqtg vjg qvjgt fqqt,"[20] the Indian said while gesturing to me to watch, and they will go to the other door.
While looking at their back when they walked inside the door.
Then I noticed the little girl got close to me.
"Hey, I've been thinking, where are you from? I don't know your language. Even they don't know anything about you." She talked to me, but i do not know what she is saying.
"I don't know what you are talking about," I said to him,
"Kv nqqmu nkmg yg uvknn ecp'v eqoowpkecvg dwv uvknn k vjkpm aqw ctg vjg qpg vjcv uwooqpgf vjcv nkijv qp vjg ecxg cpf ucxgf wu, uqq vjcpm aqw."[21] Then suddenly she yawned.
i was their silently watching him like an idiot.
"K vjkpm k ujqwnf hkpf c yca vq eqoowpkecvg ykvj aqw cpqvjgt vkog, iqqf pkijv."[22] She got up to the bed beside the baby and started to sleep.
"Ohh she's gonna sleep? well i think i should also sleep for the night i felt tired from what happend" as i laid on the cold floor to sleep and when i moved my body to the side i saw a shiny thing under the cabinet and when i reach for it and grabbed it and pulled it outside.
And saw a cool amulet, and I wore it and continued to sleep.
