They only came out of the bathroom after the steam had settled into every corner of the room. Their wet hair clung to their foreheads, their skin flushed from the hot shower… or from what had happened in there.
Keita still had the towel tightly wrapped around his waist. He said nothing. Just breathed fast, still tense. Faint marks of lips showed on his neck. On Yuzuki's shoulders… even more.
She smiled with satisfaction, one hand resting casually on the edge of the bed, her knees still weak.
"I wonder… if it happens again… will we survive?" she whispered, lifting his chin with a finger.
And right then—
A short, hurried knock at the door.
Knock-knock-knock!
"Keita? You in there?"
The voice was familiar. A classmate. One who absolutely shouldn't have been there.
Yuzuki clamped her hand over her mouth, and Keita froze.
"Didn't you say you had the room to yourself?" she whispered in panic.
"I did…" he replied, eyes wide, searching for his clothes.
"I thought it was empty… but I think I saw a girl's silhouette inside."
The classmate's voice, getting closer.
Yuzuki ran toward the wardrobe, wearing only a robe. She hid behind the door, heart pounding in her chest like a rebellious drum.
Keita, face red, opened the door just slightly.
"Ah… it was too hot in the room. I was taking a shower."
"Uh-huh…" the classmate said, peeking over his shoulder.
"Strange, I could've sworn… I thought I saw someone moving."
"Probably just your imagination," said Keita, forcing a smile.
But just then, a damp strand of hair slipped through the slightly open wardrobe door. Barely visible.
The classmate's eyebrows twitched. Then he chuckled softly, sarcastically.
"Forget it… I won't get involved. I didn't see anything."
He tapped the doorframe lightly with his fingers and left.
The door closed. Silence.
Yuzuki slowly stepped out of the wardrobe, placing a finger on Keita's lips.
"If he'd caught us… I don't know if I would've stopped."
She pulled him back toward the bed, not giving him a chance to reply.
"You promised you'd teach me… that anatomy lesson again," she said with a mischievous smile.
And the blanket fell once more.
