Lola glance at Leon occasionally as he drive him to the company, their eyes met few times but she was quick to avert her gaze. Leon could tell something was rating her up, but he couldn't tell what it was. He had asked "Do you want to tell me something?"
"No it's nothing " She had replied though to fast, making Leon sure something was really going on with her.
Maybe it is the Toby's issue troubling her, he thought and made a mental not to call Jimi to let her know she will be allow to solve the issue herself.
But Leon was wrong it is him Lola was thinking about. Lola had fallen for him that is certain, she was sure of that. But Leon had made it clear that though he didn't have a girlfriend yet, he as someone he love but hasn't tell the person yet, just like she likes him and hasn't tell him yet. Now to her it has if she always has a bad luck when it comes to love, her first love had been stolen by her stepsister, she remembered that night she was so broken that she entered a bar and got herself drunk for the first, she was so drunk that she had made out with a stranger that day. It was when she woke up in a hotel room naked that she knew she had probably had sex with a stranger, though the stranger was gone by the morning and she can't remember his face till now. Weeks later she found out she was pregnant, she wasn't sure who the father was as she still had sex a week ago with her ex husband Odo before he was been snatched by Penellope and she hooked up with the stranger, and that was why she never told Odo or the Toby's family about her pregnancy.
"Thank you," she said to Leon after he dropped her off at work. She walked into her office thinking about how hard it would be hard for her to watch Leon cook and do other stuffs that made her fell for him while she will try not to show her affection pretending not to like him.
"Are you fine?" Rhea asked when she brought her, her morning coffee.
"Yes I am" she force a smile.
"You don't look like it, take care of yourself," Rhea had said. "Mr. Jimi ask to see you" she added before walking out of the office.
"Are you fine Miss Lola?" Jimi asked also, when she went to his office.
Now Lola was surprised about how obvious it was that she was not doing so fine, she thought she had keep it within her so well, but it obvious she hasn't done a good job with that.
"I'm fine Mr. Jimi" she replied
"Well if it do you any good, I had talked with the CEO and we have decided to not interfere with the issue between you and the Toby's family" Jimi revealed.
"Oh" Lola smiled "I really appreciate your consideration, thank you" Lola said appreciatively.
"You are welcome "
Later that day Rhea had came to Lola's office, trying to find out what really was wrong with her.
"What really is wrong with you?" Rhea asked
"It's silly"
"Tell me" Rhea had insisted.
"I'm embarrass by it " Lola said covering her face.
"It about man isn't it?" Rhea asked with a knowing look, she smiled at her when Lola nod in approval.
"No tell me, I want to hear more" Rhea said
"Okay it's my daughter nanny"
"Your daughter nanny?" Rhea exclaimed in surprise.
"I told you it embarrassing" Lola said, her cheeks had turn red due to shyness.
"No it fine, I just didn't expect it" Rhea assured her.
"I didn't mean for it to happen, I just did. He is kind towards Mira, he notices things like when there's something on my mind or I'm having a bad day, he also looks dinner. He is a very good cook.
"That sounds good, what then is the problem?" Rhea asked
"He is in love with some else, he didn't say her name but he told me when I asked if he has a girlfriend " Lola replied twisting her finger shyly and looking down.
"I think you need to tell him how you feel about him" Rhea adviced
"But what if it ruin everything, he is good to my daughter you know"
"You can't be so sure" Rhea said "You have to hear is reply and then you'll know"
"I will try"
"You should. Well next time he cook invite me over " Rhea said and they both laughed.
