Matteo and I unanimously agreed to spend the rest of the day outside the brooding and suffocating Gusto castle. After he caught up with me and I cried in the car, him offering me a napkin, not judging or asking how it went down. Just sitting, next to me while I cried like a baby and Dave waited outside the car.
When I was done, he took the handkerchief and cleaned the corners of my eyes, then he said.
"Let's not make this a tradition".
Then we decided to catch a movie. He confessed he hadn't been in a movie theatre in 20 years. I winced when he said that. Saying he and his brother must have been raised by wolves.
So we watched a total of 3 movies, two for me and 1 for him. I ended up loving the one he picked, feeling defeated that he had chosen a better movie, for someone who didn't even watch movies.
After the movie, we took a walk around town and remembered that Dave was still with us.
So we decided to all have dinner together at a Moroccan place.
