Everything was once normal
I was 8 back then when it happened
"Mommy look"
I called out my mother who was sitting beside my father who was driving
She shifted her gaze back and looked at my hand with a bright smile
It made me happy
"What is it dear"
My mother asked

I responded with a cheeky smile
"Oh wow! who thought how to make that"

My father interupted as my mother slapped him on his shoulder
I did not understand what he meant but I laughed alongside my father
A few minuted passed untill we finally arrived
"WELCOME TO SUNNYSIDE"
The bell rang as the announcement from the school entered the car
"Wake up we are here"
My father said as he proceeded to go out of the car and opened the back door
"Wake up buddy its your first day"

I responded with a smile
My father laughed

I nodded and walked out of the car as my father stepped down and touched my shoulders

My father then proceeded to gently hold my pinky finger out

I scramed as I ran towards the school

My mother whispered into my ears as she tucked me in my bed
I closed my eyes as I can hear her foot steps go farther and farther
I can hear a small click as the lights turn off
I opened my eyes as I reached out towards my bag and brought out the toys my friend gave me
I brought out a stick as I clicked and clicked and clicked on the button
For a brief moment nothing happened until a small spark came out and created a flame
For a child like me it was the most beautiful thing I ever saw

It was then I brought out another stick from the bag and attached the flame into its end like how my friend told me to
And another small flame bursted infront of me
I placed the new burning stick beside my bed as I continue to stare at its beauty, its waves echoed throughout my mind as I slowly closed my eyes.
It was peaceful, It was like any other day, my mind flipped through the memories ive made as my mind slowly entered into sleep
It was normal
I was happy

I did not know how much has passed since I went to sleep but now I found myself being carried

I looked over his shoulder as I saw our house up in flames
My father looked back

My father screamed
He slowly placed me down as tears began to fall down his eyes.

I asked
I saw his face harden

He tried to comfort me but I can see it

I screamed

My father told me as he shifted his body back and ran back towards the house
I stared as his figure began to fade into the flames

It was then I heard a small click
BOOOOOOOMMM!
the house suddenly errupted and exploded
My body flew accross the grass
My vision slowly began to fade
The last thing I heard were sirens
