Evalyn's face went stiff, and Jack thought she might be trying to hide a look of disgust.
"They all know about each other, and all but two are also friends with each other," he said. "The last two are still uncertain if they are okay with sharing."
Her tense look shifted to one of disbelief.
"You're telling me you have seven girlfriends, and five of them know each other and are friends with each other?"
"Yep. And the remaining two each know about the other six, and one of them has met two of my other girlfriends."
"And they don't fight? Or, you know, get jealous?"
"No fighting, and only one of them feels any jealousy, but it's mostly born of anxiety, and she's handling it well."
"That's hard to believe."
