Kranos stood silently, observing the five cultivators before him. After watching them display their techniques, he could roughly estimate their cultivation levels. With a few calculated guesses, he ranked them and selected the top five—three men and two women. Giving them a subtle nod, he turned and led them toward a building located slightly away from the main courtyard.
This courtyard had been specially constructed over the past six months by the City Lord, intended solely for Kranos to train these cultivators. As Kranos stepped inside, his gaze swept across the area. Besides a few leisure trees that had clearly been transplanted, the courtyard was mostly empty, with minimal distractions, perfect for cultivation.
The five cultivators entered cautiously. They recalled that even though Kranos seemed like a kid, he was probably on the same level as the City Lord, if not stronger. They could only stand in silence, waiting for Kranos to begin teaching them.
