Day 585 in This World
Explored 14% of other continents
Explored 20% of Continent 2
I've cranked up my exploration speed by nearly 20%, but with continents this huge, it's not easy to cover every spot flawlessly without drawing attention. This is the best I can do…
In the skies, lone Bipe flock together briefly before scattering to different points. Those are my mindless dungeon-spawned clones, moving like natural animals—shedding feathers, tossing rocks, or leaving droppings as teleport markers for my spawns.
Fwooosh~~~
Sometimes, I fully control those bodies to soak in the scenery with my own eyes.
Like this Bipe I'm controlling now, swooping down to perch on a branch near a bustling city on Continent 2. It's packed with traders, buildings of brick and minerals like a medieval-Roman mix from my old world. Can't help but admire the beauty. I'll spawn a human body here later, but for now…
"Coo coo? Cuk cuk?"
Glances left and right
Manta's blood isn't dropping… Okay.
After checking no one's watching, I spawn Rat, Bumosq, Bufly, and Cocroa… (Heh, don't ask what they're like in the real world.) They emerge from feather scraps under bushes and sneak into the city, dodging and weaving.
On the ground, outside cities, I use Rab, Rat, or the lowest-level/fastest monsters in the area for detailed scouting. They work well, though slower than Bipe's quick map-opening.
Gotta admit, the events from half a month ago woke me up big time. Even as a behind-the-scenes monitor, not fully bonding with anyone, I'm still freaking out over what's happening and how little I can do…
And Ric, who gave his all for Jena, Fena, and Tena… Don't get me started on that guy's state…
Wait, maybe I'm the only one stressing over this? Everyone else is caught up in personal drama? Nah, if they knew the truth, it'd be chaos. And who knows what the Goddesses are planning next?
…
The next problem I can't accept—but it's already happened—is a hero's death… Same incident with Chong and Ric. The victim? Someone from Continent 3.
I found out after that event. From a southern city, I sent my fastest units to the same area, spreading out to gather info. Turns out, a super-strong girl who helped villagers died with her party…
I pulled her body's data from everyone's memories to check her final moments… She died in agony, her last words:
"Save me, Goddess…"
Shudder…
Ugh, shouldn't have checked. Honestly…
I don't want this to happen again, but if heroes keep growing like this, the monster transfer scale will spiral out of control. It's only Year 2, and we're already seeing Level 300-500 monsters invade. What happens when heroes hunt Level 2000+ monsters or Level 5000 bosses in Years 5-10? (Highest-level monsters, outside Root Tower dungeons.)
The biggest issue now is how I control this game to prevent that tragedy while ending this crazy game without the Goddesses suspecting me. Damn tough…
And that "hero protects continent every 10 years" thing I read about… What's that gonna be in 10 years?
Ugh… Long-term plans later. For now, short-term: finish mapping. At this speed, max effort, maybe 1.5 years to complete…
The little Bipe I'm controlling gazes at the peaceful city with innocent eyes, hoping it stays that way until the truth comes out.
"Coo cuk!"
Alright, break's over. Let's go, Bipe! Ikimasu!
Flap! Flap-flap-flap!
Fwoooosh~~~~
Thwack!!!
"Coooo!!!!!!!"
Arghhh~~~~~~~~!!!!
Why do they always shoot the body I'm controlling!?!
Fwoosh~~~ Splat…

How Do I Control This Game to Avoid That Tragedy
