"It worked. Grandma Mito already took it, and her lost vitality has been restored," Ren Takashisaid with a confident smile.
"Even if she doesn't make another breakthrough in cultivation, she should easily live another thirty or forty years."
As he spoke, he flipped his palm and retrieved three slender vials from his personal sealed treasury. The liquid inside shimmered with a faint, golden glow.
"Here. Life potions." He handed one to each of them—Uchiha Nobuhiko, the Great Elder, and Kokomi. "Drink them now. You've all lost some vitality in the past—this will help reverse that damage and prevent it from hindering future breakthroughs."
The three looked at each other briefly before downing the potions in one smooth motion.
Moments later, warmth spread from their cores to every part of their bodies. Blocked meridians loosened, internal fatigue faded, and an invigorating energy filled their limbs. The effects were immediate.
Nobuhiko and Kokomi both looked several years younger, but the Great Elder's transformation was most striking. Already in his sixties and older than Mito, he visibly reversed time. A third of his white hair darkened, deep facial lines smoothed out, and his pallor faded.
He clenched his fists and took a deep breath. "It's been a long time since I felt this light... Ren Takashi, this is a miracle."
He moved around slightly, testing his body with awe in his eyes. "I feel like I've regained twenty years! How can I get more of this? I don't want to die yet—I want to see Uchiha rise to the top of the ninja world!"
Ren Takashismiled and shook his head. "It's not meant to be taken repeatedly. The life potion restores lost vitality, but it doesn't grant new years beyond that. Once your old losses are recovered, additional doses won't do much—just mild revitalization, but that's it."
"But," he added, "I'll make it available in the Merit Pavilion. Every month, Uchiha will receive a limited supply based on available materials."
The Great Elder sighed in mild disappointment. "A shame… still, even this much is incredible. Do you think… you'll ever make one that truly extends life?"
Ren Takashinodded. "Eventually. But it'll take time. Right now, my next priority is a blood purification potion."
This caught everyone's attention.
Ren Takashicontinued, "The goal is to refine and perfect the bloodline limit of a clan—especially for those like Uchiha. It could enhance potential and even awaken abilities that otherwise lie dormant."
"If it works… every Uchiha could one day awaken the Mangekyō—or even the Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan."
A breathless silence followed.
"The entire clan… Eternal Eyes?" the Great Elder murmured, stunned by the scope.
"But… don't you need to transplant the Mangekyō of a blood relative to get Eternal Eyes?" Nobuhiko asked, concern creeping in. "Wouldn't that cause civil strife?"
Ren Takashishook his head. "That's just a patch for inadequate foundations. If your chakra and ocular foundations are complete and pure, that step becomes unnecessary."
"According to my research, the Sage of Six Paths and his son Indra awakened Eternal Eyes without fusing anyone else's. What matters is their origin strength and bloodline integrity."
"My Eye-Opening Method and Three Tomoe Cultivation Manual are designed to strengthen that foundation. And once we add blood purification to the mix, we'll no longer need the Mangekyō as a stepping stone—we can leap directly to the Eternal Sharingan."
Nobuhiko and the Great Elder stared at him in shock, struggling to process the enormity of what he was describing.
"If what you say is true…" the elder whispered, "then Uchiha's golden age hasn't come yet—but it will."
Ren Takashinodded. "Of course, there are still limits. Even with a perfect foundation, opening the Eternal Eye would still depend on chance—unless I can develop a specific cultivation method for it."
"That's also on my list."
The elder laughed excitedly. "Ren Takashi, how long will that bloodline potion take?"
"Maybe one to three years," Ren Takashianswered honestly. "It depends on research progress and how much help I get."
Truthfully, with a few wishes, he could finish it in a month—but the timing wasn't right. There were political threats and power balances to maintain. Better to take it slow and prepare a stable foundation.
Nobuhiko smiled. "Then take your time. Don't burn yourself out. Uchiha is thriving—we can wait."
"Yes, yes!" the Great Elder nodded emphatically. "What matters most is that you stay healthy. Uchiha's future rides on your shoulders."
Ren Takashichuckled. "Relax, I've got this. For now, just help me collect more of the ingredients for the life potion. But remember—no overharvesting. Sustainability is key."
"Understood!" both elders said.
Then Nobuhiko's face darkened. "Wait… if Mito-sama has truly regained her vitality, won't the Third Generation find out?"
Ren Takashishook his head. "Not immediately. We've sealed her vitality signature. The Third won't notice anything for years. But we have to be careful."
He added, "Every older Uchiha who takes this potion needs to get the same vitality seal. It will mask their rejuvenation from chakra sensors."
"Me first!" the Great Elder volunteered.
"Me too," Kokomi added.
"You two don't need it," Ren Takashisaid, smiling at his parents. "You're still young. Your changes are subtle enough not to raise suspicion."
He formed a seal, touched the Great Elder's chest, and layered a vitality seal over him.
Almost instantly, the elder's aura returned to its previously frail state—visibly and sensor-wise.
"...Incredible," the elder whispered. "I feel young—but no one would know."
Ren Takashismiled. "It's an old Uzumaki seal—nothing complicated. Grandma Mito developed it. I just refined the chakra threads."
The elder laughed. "For most ninja, this is already high-level sealing. You really are incredible."
And so, the seeds of transformation continued to grow—not just for Ren Takashi, but for all of Uchiha. With potions to restore the old, and a vision to uplift the future, the clan no longer simply dreamed of greatness.
They prepared for it.
