#ADRIAN REYNOLDS POV#
"You have got to be kidding me?" I ask Griselda as she lets out a big sigh
"Unfortunately...I am not," She says after a bit, causing me to sigh
"We...have to go back?" Irina asks, looking at Griselda
"As I said before...yes..." Griselda mumbles out
"Why?" I ask her, causing her to frown
"The Devils somehow found out about you going to Kuoh and fighting the Fallen. Once the situation was explained, they 'understood' the reason but were still trespassing..."
Crap...
"So...a compromise was reached...you will go over and stay for a time in their territory while they...' investigate'..." She says, making me frown
"Convenient...almost to convenient..." I comment
"We know...which is why you are not to reveal your ability to turn into an Angel..." She says to me as I nod hesitantly
"I won't unless I have to," I tell her, causing her to sigh
"I know...But I hope that it won't have to come to that..."
"When do we have to leave?'
"Preferably in between 2 days," Griselda answers, and I nod
"What do we do about the Fallen Angels?"
"I will stay behind with them in the meantime," Griselda answers
"Alright...I am going to go get ready," I say as Xenovia, Irina, and Asia follow me inside to get ready
Seriously...back to Kuoh...great...
I turn around as I hear someone knocking on my bedroom door
Opening it, I see Irina rubbing her arm while looking nervous
She murmurs something I don't quite hear
"I am sorry...I didn't quite catch that..."
"I...wanted to apologize...for not...thinking things thoroughly, and I want to say that...thank you...for trying to help me," She says softly, making me rub the back of my neck
"I...will admit...I probably could have done a better job at comforting you if I knew what I was doing..."
"I think you did alright...a little..."She says with a small smile, which I return
"You should probably start packing..." I tell her as she nods and gives me a brief hug
I hug her back for a few moments before she goes over to her room to finish packing what she needs
I finish packing some of my stuff, and when I am done, I sit on my bed and take a deep breath
A smile spreads across my face as I am glad that I seem to be repairing my bond with Irina
I get ready for tomorrow, and as I lie down, I feel something slot into place inside of me
My eyes widen as some information enters my mind, and I sit up quickly on my bed while rubbing my head as a flash of pain briefly appears
I let out a smile as the information lets me know that I can now use my armor again...
#TIMESKIP A FEW DAYS LATER, NOW BACK IN KUOH#
"How does it feel being back here again?" I ask the girls as we sit down in the limo I paid for to take us to a residence a bit outside the town of Kuoh, but still within its confines, that I purchased
Being rich has its perks
Such as buying a property in less than a day...money moves the world
"I feel...awful..." Irina whispers with pain in her voice
I give her a side hug as we all huddle around
"How did you get us a place so quickly?" Xenovia whispers to me while leaning on my shoulder
"Money moves the world..." I whisper back as she just nods
"I am still not on board with all of this..." I comment, drawing their attention to me
"What do you mean?" Asia asks as she eats some snacks
"I mean more on the part of having to set up shop in a new location entirely right when I just finished the first part of the setup back home... It's not exactly cheap considering that we are more or less in possible hostile territory...even with all that is going on, we were still sent back here despite not wanting to return..." I say with a frown on my face
The girls mirror my expression as they think about everything that we have talked about
Someone is pulling strings to set up something...
We arrive at the place after a few minutes, and despite my frustration at having to set up the defenses, I have to make sure I set up everything properly
In any other situation, I would take setting up the wards as a form of practice, but I am not going to mess around with our safety
We take our luggage and bring it inside
"Alright, start setting up your rooms, girls...I am going to set up the wards..." I say with a sigh, as I know that it's going to take me over a day of nonstop work
I obviously take the master bedroom and place my stuff inside before looking for a room to set up both a Workshop and the Ward Matrix...

"Mph," I let out a sound as I stretch on my bed and sit up for the day
We have a meeting in the afternoon with the overseers of Kuoh
Gremory and SItri
I have to admit to being a bit nervous due to the situation that the girls and I are now involved in
Either way, I hope we can have a peaceful resolution
Changing into some comfortable clothes, I make my way over to my new-ish workshop
Looking at the time, I nod to myself, seeing that it's five in the morning, which gives me some time to keep setting up my stuff properly...

"Are we sure this is the right place?" Xenovia asks as we stand in front of the gates to Kuoh Academy
"Yup, this is the place..." I say, looking at the massive sign in next to the gate
Kuoh Academy...
I notice a young woman exiting the school and walking over to the gates
"Hello..." I hear her say as I take in her features..."My name is Shinra Tsubaki...I am the Queen of Lady Sona's Peerage..."
Tsubaki has long, straight black hair that extends all the way down to her knees, with split bangs and heterochromic eyes, with a violet left eye and a light brown right eye
I narrow my eyes slightly as for the first time in a while, I am in front of a devil...a reincarnated one...but still a devil in the end...
Irina pokes me on the side slightly as I go to introduce myself
"My name is Adrian Reynolds. These 3 are my friends..." I begin before letting the others introduce themselves...
"I am Shidou Irina..." Irina introduces herself politely before Xenovia goes next
"Xenovia Quarta..." She says rather bluntly, before Asia steps forward a bit
"Hello...I am Asia Argento..." She says rather shyly
"Then let us go to the meeting room...the Overseers of Kuoh Town are waiting for us..." She says, nodding her head slightly, motioning for us to follow her, and we do so quietly...
She leads us around the school, which I have to admit...looks way better than any school I ever attended...
Tsubaki stops in front of a young woman with very long black hair and violet eyes, and I blink once as I see that she is really pretty...
Tsubaki turns around and lets the young woman next to her introduce herself
"My name is Himejima Akeno...I am the Queen of Lady Rias Gremory's peerage...I shall be accompanying Shinra-san in escorting you to the meeting room..." She says politely and to much surprise...I can sense a familiar angelic aura coming from her that is mixed with that of a devil's...
