"Well, that's no problem. The premiere is at 5 PM. We can just wait until his class is over to go," Jeffrey said casually.
"Wait, really?" Rachel exclaimed, surprised. She hadn't expected things to turn around like this, giving her another chance to see the premiere.
"Why not?" he chuckled. "If we really can't make it, I can arrange another premiere just for you, if that's what you want."
Rachel was taken aback. Just for her, a whole premiere?
That seemed a bit over the top. But then again, if it was Jeffrey, it didn't seem like too much trouble at all.
Even though she didn't want him to go through all that effort just for her, his words stirred a sweet warmth in her heart.
It was the kind of sweetness that came from being cherished.
When they arrived at their destination, Rachel held Liam's hand as they got out of the car.
Jeffrey followed them to the classroom where Liam would be attending.
