"Um..." Rachel instinctively raised her hand to push him away, but when he grabbed her right wrist, she didn't even think and lifted her left hand instead.
As his fingers pressed down on her left hand, she gasped and cried out, "That hurts!" But her shout only seemed to make him kiss her harder.
She felt like she couldn't breathe, completely caught off guard by how intense it was.
After what felt like forever, he finally pulled away and let go of her hands.
Rachel's legs felt weak, and she almost slipped off the chair.
One of his arms held her waist steady while his other hand gently lifted her left hand.
"I must've hurt you, didn't I?"
Rachel bit her lip and glared at Jeffrey.
"Why did you do that?"
"Because I don't like hearing you say things I don't want to hear," he said with a soft smile, almost looking gentle.
"If you're planning to say more, I wouldn't mind kissing you again."
