Earlier, when he thought about how Rachel had been wronged and bullied on set today, his mood completely tanked.
And now that he was finally in front of her, it was somehow even worse.
Jeffrey raised his hand and flicked the bruised spot on her forehead with his finger.
"Ow!" Rachel couldn't help but yelp in pain.
He smirked coldly. "So you do feel pain?"
Of course she did!
She wasn't made of stone. How could she not feel it, especially when he flicked the exact spot that was already injured?
Her almond-shaped eyes widened as she glared at him hard.
But he just let out a bitter laugh.
"Rachel, hello. You're doing great. You said you wanted to stay by my side so bad, but you turned me down like it was nothing. I thought maybe you had some dignity, some pride, but look at you now. Running around as an extra, bowing and scraping in front of your sister. Is that fun for you?"
