Loki's speed sliced through the air, instantly piercing a puppet that was threatening civilians with a gun.

The first puppet fell.

Soon, flashes of red light streaked across the town.

In three seconds, all the puppets in the town, numbering in the dozens, had fallen.

In the palace, Neferpitou, who was using En to protect the King, suddenly opened their eyes.

"Someone is interfering with the puppets, nya! How annoying, nya!"

"To be able to eliminate so many puppets in an instant, they're not weak, nya!"

After dealing with Neferpitou's puppets, Loki glanced around, preparing to move on to the next town.

At his current speed, it wouldn't even take a minute to reach the next one.

However, as Loki was about to leave the town using Moonwalk, two figures caught his eye.

Loki stopped abruptly and landed on the ground.

'Gon and Killua!' He hadn't expected that, despite the altered timeline, Gon and Killua would still be here.

He hadn't expected this at all.

Hiding in an alley, Killua watched the puppets fall. "That attack was fast. Who did that?"

"The puppets here were also taken down. The attack was too fast. I didn't even see what killed them," Gon said.

Suddenly, Gon sensed something.

He turned around sharply.

Loki stood behind them.

Gon's eyes flickered.

Before he could speak, Loki said, "You should leave this country."

Gon and Killua were too weak. They could easily die against even a regular squad leader.

If they were captured and eaten by the King... Loki wasn't sure what would happen.

Hearing Loki's voice, Killua turned around quickly.

"Was that you?"

Loki nodded. "Alright, hurry up and leave!"

"Loki, are you planning to fight the King?"

Gon suddenly stepped forward and asked Loki.

Looking at Gon, Loki saw that his eyes weren't as bright as usual.

They were clouded with darkness.

"Is Kite dead?"

Loki asked abruptly.

They hadn't expected Loki to ask that.

But seeing Gon's expression, Loki knew that things had probably played out similarly to the original story. Kite had taken Gon and Killua to the nest, encountered Neferpitou, and been killed.

"You want to save Kite?"

Loki looked at Gon.

Gon nodded. "Yes!"

Gon didn't know why Loki seemed to know about them and Kite.

He didn't want to ask.

Since they were already talking, Gon decided to state his purpose directly.

"Loki, if you're going to fight the King, please let me join you. Please!"

Watching Gon suddenly lower his head and beg Loki, Killua stood silently by.

Loki suddenly grinned. "Come with me."

Gon's eyes lit up. "You agree?"

"Not yet, but I am going to fight the King. Whether you can join will be decided soon."

Let Ging make the decision. A father-son reunion under these circumstances would be interesting.

Ging probably wouldn't agree to let Gon join the extermination team.

But Gon would insist on joining no matter what.

This would be very interesting.

Loki guessed that Ging would eventually relent. Having Gon join the team would solve Loki's problem of Ging being too strong.

With those two liabilities, even Ging wouldn't be able to fight at full strength.

This would fulfill Loki's expectations.

The Royal Guards would be contained.

He could defeat the King and complete his mission.

As for whether he would be injured after defeating the King and unable to fight the Royal Guards, Loki wasn't worried.

He still had a Senzu Bean.

If everything went smoothly, he could obtain two S-rank rewards.

Following Loki, Gon and Killua arrived at another town.

After dealing with the puppets in that town, Loki continued to the next.

With Gon and Killua in tow, Loki's speed decreased considerably.

But it only took longer to travel.

Eliminating Neferpitou's puppets didn't take much time.

Constantly running to keep up with Loki exhausted Gon and Killua.

Loki didn't intentionally slow down, allowing Gon and Killua to keep up easily.

Instead, he deliberately increased his speed, forcing Gon and Killua to exert themselves to the limit to barely keep up.

After just a few hours of running, they were already panting heavily.

Loki hadn't even broken a sweat.

Gon and Killua lay on the ground, gasping for air.

'I'm so tired. My legs feel like they're not even mine anymore!' Gon glanced at Loki, who was still full of energy.

Just traveling had exhausted him.

If they encountered an enemy now, they wouldn't have the strength to fight back.

Thinking this, Gon forced himself to stand and scan the surroundings.

Killua, on the other hand, didn't want to move at all.

'The gap is so big!' He stared at Loki's back. At that moment, Loki's slender back seemed to grow further away, taller and more imposing.

Like an insurmountable mountain.

A voice echoed in Killua's mind.

'Don't stay here. Leave quickly!' 'Stay away from dangerous people. Ensure your own safety!' These thoughts kept repeating in Killua's mind, unable to stop.

This was why Killua didn't want to contact Loki.

As Loki grew stronger and the gap between them widened, his mind couldn't find peace.

"Have you rested enough?"

Loki suddenly turned around and asked.

Killua and Gon nodded with difficulty.

"Then let's keep moving."

Loki's speed remained unchanged.

The two boys watched Loki, who was almost disappearing before their eyes, and struggled to their feet, desperately trying to keep up.

Ahead of them was the treehouse platform.

The location of Ging and the others.

Gon and his father were about to reunite.

What kind of scene would that be?

"Someone is dealing with your puppets," Pouf said to Neferpitou in the palace.
