Chapter 167 - HHES: Chapter 167

Loki took two steps forward, his eyes narrowed, a slight smile playing on his lips. "You keep talking about these violent players."

Everyone's attention turned to Loki.

The violent players were the hottest topic among the players lately. Their sudden appearance had disrupted the established game ecosystem, causing widespread fear.

The most crucial issue wasn't their killing spree; it was the possibility of them clearing the game.

Loki stopped, looking at the players before him, and spoke softly. "If the violent players you're referring to are the ones who killed those trash players, then I believe it's the three of us."

Silence. Loki's confession stunned everyone.

The only sound was the silence.

After a few seconds, a large man stepped forward, confronting Loki.

He glared menacingly. "Kid, is that true?" His eyes narrowed. "Among those you killed... was there someone who looked like me?"

Loki looked at him, pondering for a moment. "Oh! There was one, a fool..." Loki's eyes flickered as he looked at the man. "That fool spoke to me just like you, and I..."

He raised his hand, Nen surging. Loki leaped, his arm transforming into a hand blade.

With a swipe, pssch! blood splattered. Loki landed, flicking away the blood from his fingertips, standing silently before the large man's body.

Loki shook his head. "That's how I killed him."

As the words fell, the blood rained down, and the large man's body thudded to the ground, his severed head rolling nearby.

Silence. Everyone stared at the corpse.

"He's... just dead?" someone stammered.

"Not just him," Loki said calmly. "All of you."

Loki clenched his fist, raising his right arm slowly. At that moment, Genthru felt a sudden heat, cold sweat beading on his brow.

A feeling of unease washed over him. He found the answer the next second: flames erupted from Loki's raised fist. A wave of heat washed over Genthru's face.

An incredible aura burst from Loki, the flickering flames visible to everyone. The Nen blast created a spreading vortex. Loki smiled.

"I said, explosions? I can do that too!"

He swung his arm, punching out. Flames erupted, engulfing everything. Boom boom! A deafening roar echoed. Genthru's vision was filled with flames.

He suddenly remembered an intelligence report from before entering Greed Island: a monstrous kid whose ability was to convert Nen into flames—a terrifying monster who'd destroyed an entire building with a single attack and even dared to raid Hunter Association headquarters.

As the flames threatened to consume him, Genthru chuckled bitterly. 'So the violent players... are that monstrous kid.'

Back at the mansion, Abengane felt immense anxiety. When leaving Greed Island, he could have chosen many locations, but Pakunoda's earlier warning prevented him from making any move. He obediently chose the location Loki specified: a luxurious mansion, secluded from others.

Inside, Baise opened the door for the four of them.

"I'll see Chrollo. You stay upstairs."

Hisoka smiled, casually sitting down.

Pakunoda showed no emotion at the mention of Chrollo, remaining calm.

Loki took Abengane to the mansion's basement, where a specially constructed cell awaited. Though Chrollo's limbs had been broken by Hisoka, Loki was still concerned. He'd locked him in the cell, using anesthetic to immobilize him, making it easier for Baise to guard him.

In the dark, damp corridor, flickering lights illuminated their path to the iron door at the end. Loki's heartbeat quickened.

After successfully removing Chrollo's Nen, the next step was to extract the Phantom Troupe's secrets.

He eagerly anticipated the reward for completing this mission.

With a creak, the door opened. The room was unlike the outside; despite being a cell, it resembled a hospital room.

White fluorescent lights illuminated the clean, white walls and smooth floor.

Flowers were placed in a corner, and a television displaying an old adventure story was mounted on the wall opposite Chrollo's bed.

As the door opened, Chrollo, seemingly aware of Loki's presence, said to the television, "This colorful world... is vast! Full of wonder and magic! If I could, one day I'd explore every corner of the world."

Whether he was speaking to himself or Loki was unclear.

Loki entered. Abengane glanced at Chrollo, whose limbs were clearly broken and restrained by chains on the small bed.

A needle was still injecting anesthetic at regular intervals. Even with his limbs broken, this treatment was necessary, demonstrating the man's danger even incapacitated.

Abengane pointed at Chrollo. "Do you need to remove his Nen?"

Loki nodded. "Can you do it?"

"Let's see."

Abengane approached Chrollo, sensing his Nen. Chrollo turned, looking at Abengane. "You actually found one."

"Are Nen removers hard to find?" Loki acknowledged their rarity, but Chrollo's words suggested he hadn't expected Loki to find one.

Chrollo shook his head. "Not necessarily hard, but certainly not easy.

Your luck is exceptionally good.

Among the Hunter Association's many Nen users, only a few are Nen removers!"
