[Despairing Wail]
A silent scream of despair, those who hear it will be subjected to the most despairing moments of their memories. The more the target despairs, the stronger the Wailing Ghost becomes. Until extreme despair drives them to sucide!
....
Ah, I see. So the ghost can invoke emotions! A peculiar ability I must say. Unfortunately for the Ghost, I don't feel despair. My other self does. So it's attack is almost useless in front of me.
Neo, now Chained Warden (Heavenly Spirit form) wanders about the pitch black void of Nether Sky. Hoping to encounter some other creatures. Indeed after sometime he found another Ghost.
Not too far from him, a pale skinned fugure wearing rags could be seen walking with great difficulty. Then, suddenly, as if sensing Neo's presence, it turned over. Seeing Neo, it's expressionless face immediately contorted into one of extreme rage. It was as if Neo had murdered the Ghost and his family.
Neo: ...(°_°)...
What the? Why are you so angry at me? Is my face so dislikeable?
The Wrathful Ghost, as Neo named it on the fly, started charging at him. It's figure buffed up and ignited. By the time it was close to Neo, it's ragged body has become a raging flame of a giant!
And then...
Swoosh!
A chain flew over and entangled the Ghost. No matter how desperately the Ghost struggled or raged, it was futile. It was eventually turned into a tatto on the chains. And new information flooded in his mind.
[Raging Heart]
A Heart filled with nothing but rage, wrath and immutable anger. The Rage of the Heart transforms into fire that empowers one drastically for a time but makes them lose sanity at the same time.
....
So, basically fuelling the rage, anger or bottled emotions in a person Heart until it combusts into a raging display of strength. A momentary burst of strength followed by a hollowed body and mind. Tch!
Neo thought and thought. Finally he seems to have figured out the general atmosphere of the Nether Sky. It seems Nether Sky is full of Ghosts!
....
In a plane unseen by mortals, within a newly enlarged Obsidian sphere, Chained Warden drags it's chains across the lightless void. Every time it encounters a lingering Ghost, faithful to it's name, the Chained Warden bounds them to its chains.
Hence the peculiar phenomenon of a Ghastly Chained Being dragging myriad Ghosts with it's chain could be seen. Unfortunately no one was there to witness this spectacular....or rather, horrifying phenomenon.
One Ghost after another, each differing in their emotions, were chained mercilessly. Regardless of reason, as long as a Ghost enters the "line of sight", aka perception of Chained Warden, only one fate awaits them. Being chained in an eternal prison, serving the Warden as faithful Ghosts.
Neo noticed that every Ghost seemed to have a certain emotions practically etched on their very being. Emotions, in such extreme state could indeed exert unimaginable strength.
So far, it seems there is nothing but Ghosts. So Neo was prepared to return to his physical body and observe what changes had occured there. But right then, he saw something strange.
Far in the distance, a black figure was crouched. As the Chained Warden got closer, the figure also got clearer. At first glance it looked like a Maniac Ghost.
Mouth stretched in a grin so wide that it split at the edges. Eyes full of madness.
But a glaring difference stood out now that he had come closer. This Maniac Ghost....if it still could be called that was wearing what looked like a leather jacket, something no other Ghosts possesed. No Ghosts wore anything fancy like that. They are mostly skin and bones.
This one however was more like a muscular, deranged man possesed by a Ghost than an actual Ghost. As if to prove his point, Chained Wardens chains unexpectedly couldn't immediately subdue it.
The Maniac Ghost.....no, tge thing that looked like a Maniac Ghost struggled desparately. It's signature move [Laughter Mania] was nowhere to be seen. Granted it would not effect the even Crazier Neo. But it's absence seemd unsettling.
Finally after a long struggle, the thing that looked neither Ghost nor human, was subdued. It was not turned into a tatto like other Ghosts. Instead, the tattoo of the Maniac Ghost swam over from the chains and drilled into it.
A while later, a peculiar mask appeared on Chained Wardens hands. The mask was white, as if forged from bones. There were two holes wgere the eye socket was supposed to be. These holes seemed pitch black at first glance. There was maddening depth to them. The mask depicted a Grin that stretches from one eye to other. And on top of that, the grinning mouth was full of sharp, bloodied teeth.
[Maniac Mask]
Madness given face. Anyone that darws to look directly into the eyes will be dragged into a world of madness, unleashing their inner beast. It also serves as a concealing tool, for no one could get past the barrier of madness!
...
Hmm, it seems to be an entirely different species compared to the Ghosts. It has corporeal form, unlike the semi-transparent Ghosts. Hmmm, let me think.....what should I call this thing?
Chained Warden seemed to show no expression but Neo's inner face was full of animated expression. He said rahter dejectedly to himself," This ia so tiring! I wonder how my other self coped with this. No wonder he seems to stoic and upright!.....I still have to take up his mantle. Hmm, let's call this nrw type of creatures.....Fiends!"
Just like that, an entirely new sky, with entirely new creatures were arbitrarily named by a madman. And no one was there to stop him. The later generation may lament at the arbitary or even the crude naming sense. But no one can, nor anyone will ever dare to challenge the trailblazer and change what he had imposed on this New Sky!
FOR HE IS THE TRAILBLAZER!!N
