"I'm not satisfied with this agreement. I'm not signing any damn agreement with you."
Selina glanced at her copy of the agreement, then back at him. "Why not?"
"You're so bold trying to take control of this situation."
He moved closer, causing her to instinctively step back.
Selina narrowed her brows at him. "I'm not trying to take control; I'm trying to establish trust."
She stretched out her trembling hand toward him, holding a pen.
He let out a derisive snort. "Trust? By expecting me to accompany you to the doctor's visits?"
When her leg collided with the bed frame, she stumbled and slumped onto the bed as Zane leaned closer. Her chest heaved as she tried to calm the erratic rhythm of her heartbeat.
Nervously, her arms pressed against the soft bed as she adjusted her position.
"There's nothing wrong with the agreement. I don't know much about prenatal care, but I'm sure I would need your involvement in some aspects of our baby's—"
