The sky hadn't healed from the last shockwave.
Reality still trembled, like the world itself held its breath, afraid to speak, afraid to move, afraid to even exist near me.
The Apostles felt it too, as earlier on, I had summoned my forces of void and destruction.
Their formation wavered.
Their wings flickered.
Their divine sigils sputtered like dying candles.
For the first time…they realised they weren't hunters.
They were the prey.
I raised my hand casually, almost lazily.
And all of them panicked.
"W–WAIT—!!" an Apostle from the Radiant Dawn screamed, layers of sunfire authority igniting around him like a miniature star.
Another from the Iron Colossus Legion slammed its fists together, manifesting a massive mechanical fortress around his body.
Others activated divine relics, shields, blessings, weapons forged from cosmic laws, everything they had.
Hundreds of them lit up at once.
It was like a galaxy of authorities and a storm of divine might.
