For a moment, the silence after the blade fell was thick enough to drown in.
The capsule that once held the "perfect" being—a fusion of one thousand souls—now lay shattered in silence.
No light.
No final farewell.
Only stillness.
And then—
"NNNOOOOOOOO!"
A scream—inhuman, manic, filled with unhinged disbelief—tore through the room like a dagger to the mind.
Alzimar's face twisted with a cocktail of rage, anguish, and cracked pride.
He stumbled forward, arms stretched toward the remains of the capsule, as though trying to pull back time with his bare hands.
"You—YOU DESTROYED IT!" he shrieked, eyes bulging with veins that pulsed like molten cords.
"My masterpiece! My culmination! Do you have any idea what you've done?! That was PERFECTION!"
Daniel stood there, silent, his eyes still on the capsule, not on Alzimar.
His expression was unreadable, but his aura throbbed with restrained fury.
"You bound a thousand souls… innocent lives… into one body"
