The four knight golems set out to attack me.
I raised my hand toward the sword-wielder and casted a spell.
Maha Visphot.
Boom!
The golem suddenly exploded from the inside and fragmented into pieces.
Using telekinesis, I took hold of its master-less great sword and parried another golem that was about to slash its large scythe through my body.
Swish!
Clang!
I weaved robust chains with my mana and sent them slithering all over the scythe-wielder. They constricted the moving statue and impeded its charge.
Remaining inside the wall of flames, the crossbow-wielder aimed its weapon at me and launched a man-sized bolt straight toward my head.
Swoosh!
I used telekinesis to alter the bolt's trajectory.
The projectile struck the halberd-wielder attempting my ambush, tearing its right shoulder.
Davah Shashanam.
The crossbow bolt pierced through the halberd-wielder and kept on flying.
It altered course once more and went straight to the scythe-wielder I restrained earlier.
Crash!
The bolt punctured through the scythe-wielder's head, causing it to fall limply to the ground.
I sensed more projectiles coming my way.
In an instance, I created a portal to my flank.
Three giant crossbow bolts plunged into the pathway and emerged right behind the halberd-wielder.
The projectiles tore off the golem's two arms and one leg, incapacitating it completely.
The entire combat sequence lasted not more than twelve seconds.
It would be foolish to extend a battle in which I was outnumbered.
Now with only one enemy remaining, I casted a killing spell for a swift finish.
Maha Visphot.
Great fire burst forth from the torso of the crossbow-wielder and wrecked it to pieces.
A Fourth Circle fire spell was an effective way to eradicate an enemy.
But I still could not cast it on multiple opponents at once. Not at this scale.
It was quite difficult to concentrate your mana and generate fire inside the target in such a short time, all while adjusting to the target's movement and penetrating its defense.
I should improve that skill for my next battle.
And apparently it would come sooner than I thought.
The fragments of the four golems hovered to the air like before. Their intact parts, including their weapons, disintegrated and floated up like the rest.
All of the stone pieces then amalgamated into two large knights. Each one wielding two weapons.
One knight wielded a great sword and a crossbow. The other carried a giant halberd and a large scythe.
[Harut the Punished Lv.37]
[Marut the Fallen Lv.37]
This seal had to worth all these troubles.
I proceeded to gather all the flames in the room until they formed one large orb.
As soon as the two knights leaped toward me, I divided the orb into two raging streams of fire and sent them straight at the statues.
Boom!
The streams struck them directly.
The moving statues were chipped and torn in various parts because of the successful assault.
But the knights charged on, they were unimpeded.
I immediately teleported myself to the other side of the room a second before their giant weapons crushed me.
Crash!
These knights were sturdier than the previous ones.
I also sensed faint barriers all over their surface. It would be difficult to perform the Fourth Circle fire spell on them.
Perhaps I should lose my restraint a bit and be a little more aggressive.
Maha Jwala.
I sent another stream of fire at the knights.
Boom!
The two large statues swiftly evaded my attack and charged toward me once more.
Maha Vayu. Maha Agni.
I reduced my firepower, but increased my attack frequency and rate, sending dozens of strikes at once.
['Serafina (★★★★)'s Multicasting has levelled up to level 5!]
The knights could not land a hit on me as they could not even approach where I was.
All they could do was dodging my assaults and send few giant crossbow bolts, which I could easily block with my shield or parry with telekinesis.
Crash! Boom! Crash!
The knights could not dodge all my assaults despite their improved movement. Their size and my intense barrage simply would not allow it.
But they were able to withstand the attacks without significant damage.
I supposed fiercer offense would be the solution here.
Maha Topan.
Four large whirlwinds emerged from the tip of my fingers. They immediately hunted the two knights hunting me.
The moving statues were pushed back by the whirlwinds, herding them back to the center of the room.
Maha Shilajalam.
Thick sheets of ice manifested from under my feet and rapidly crept toward the knights.
The magical ice then caught the legs of the statues and trapped them still.
[Maha Varuna Haljantarr]
The thick sheets of ice suddenly melted into a great pool of water.
All the liquid then enveloped the knights inside a fast spinning dome which tore their limbs apart.
That was when a bright tongue of lightning flickered forth from my finger and pierced the water dome.
['Unified Grand Magic 'Flash Sphere (★★★★)' has been activated!]
[Caster - 'Serafina (★★★★)']
Boom!
The dome exploded with blinding light. Most of the water evaporated due to the intense heat the lightning injected.
What was left of the explosion were few puddles of water and the tiny burnt pieces of the two knights which had been scattered all over the room.
I would really like to sigh with relief upon my opponents' defeat.
But my instinct suggested otherwise.
[Danger!]
A warning sign suddenly flashed before me.
Once again, the pieces of my fallen enemies hovered to the air and amalgamated together.
They now formed into one giant statue of a knight. A peculiar knight.
It had four arms. Each hand holding one of the four weapons wielded by my previous opponents.
With fierce energy beaming from all over its surface, the giant knight faced me.
[Guardian of the Wings]
[Jibril the Servant Lv.46]
Level 46.
That would make it stronger than the monster that the Exploration Team faced.
I must not hold anything back.
If I wanted to survive this battle, I needed to give my all.
This seal must worth all these troubles!
