As invitations rolled out, while the groom's tension only increased, the servants within the palace now had more to take care of—decorations, banners, flower harvesting, and cleaning every area spotless.
Among the servants who handled these tasks was Korra. She was still assigned to the center tower, much to her displeasure, but there was nothing she could do. Usually, matters like this were not up for debate; hence, she carried out her duty without question or complaint.
As the cleaning crew for the day arrived before the center tower, Paula was there, as always, ready to assign them their tasks for the day.
"We all know the wedding of the prince and Princess Adela is around the corner, and the Queen wants no mistakes. You all will be assigned tasks to take care of for the next week, and you must make sure they are carried out well and without delay." She stopped, then turned to two servants.
"You will join the cooks. The kitchen needs extra hands, as we will be hosting more."
