Chapter 20 - Chapter 406

Jay Jays POV

All periods went normal. Finally, I studied... literally studied today. Since I'd been absent the past few days, I didn't understand much, but still. Progress is progress.

Finally, the bell rang. Recess came. These Upulongs started screaming and running out of their seats like wild monkeys.

Eman had already started cooking food. Even though we were allowed to eat at the canteen, everyone liked Eman's food more . I suddenly remembered about Yuri. Our dear president had a lot of explaining to do.

"Oyiiiii, Yuri!" I called from my seat and quickly went to the empty seat next to him.

"Hmm?" he said, still revising his... umm... CW? Idk.

I wanted to ask him about what he was saying earlier. I just didn't know where to start. "Yuri, what were you saying earlier?" I asked awkwardly.

"When?" he replied, raising an eyebrow.

The awkwardness turned into frustration. Why does he forget sooo fast?

"When I was attacked at my house," I said, like I was explaining something to a child. 🙄

Now he looked down and seemed awkward.

"Jay, I'm sorry. I was just drunk. I didn't know why I said that," Yuri said shyly.

I gave him a soft smile. He looked like he was sulking. "It's okay," I said pacifyingly. The SLC president didn't say anything more, so I got the hint — time for a topic change.

"Oyii, Rooster, can I ask you something?" I teased, and he suddenly looked up. "Hey, don't call me Rooster," he said with a frown.

I smiled, totally enjoying how I spoiled his mood.

Ignoring his remark, I asked,

"Why did you leave early this morning?"

Suddenly, he tensed up. "Jay..." "Jay, come and help me!" Eman shouted, cutting Yuri off.

"Coming!" I shouted back, and stood up.

I said goodbye and left Yuri.

At the counter, Eman looked at me.

"Jay, how are you feeling now?" he asked.

"What do you think?" I raised my eyebrows at him. He laughed and went back to work. I helped him make food.

I took one plate for myself, and one for Keifer. Gods, when will our deal finally end?

I said goodbye to Eman and went to Keifer.

"Here," I said, shoving the plate at the king of assholes.

"What were you and Yuri talking about?" he asked directly. "You care?" I asked back. "What do you think?" he replied with such seriousness, it almost made me laugh.

He looked like a panda .

"No, you don't," I said teasingly. "Then you call us Upulongs" he murmured. "ofc I care."

Just about something," I teased again.

"Do you want me to spill it out of you another way?" he asked, raising an eyebrow as a smirk formed on his face. "Tss, just eat first," I muttered and started eating.

Suddenly, I remembered I had to ask Yuri something. I looked over to where he was sitting earlier. That tukmol was with the other Upulongs. Ughhh. But I can just ask him later, right? Now I'll enjoy my food.

As soon as we finished eating, the bell rang. Today, there was no afternoon class, so we could go home early.

Since Yuri was living with me, we would go home together. And since there was constant danger on my life, we couldn't hang out anymore. I just realized my life was sooo good when there wasn't danger lurking around. I should have gratitude. Gods.

"Keifer... I don't want to go home," I said to the king. "You can't go anywhere, Jay. You know why..." Yuri replied.

I frowned in frustration. I would just sneak o— "We can hang out at my place," Keifer said. No need to sneak out now. But wait... if we're going to Keifer's place, what about Keigan? Last time I met him, he almost killed me... not to forget — twice. And he gave me a key to give to Keifer. Should I give it to him already or wait?

"But what about Keigan?" Yuri said, like he read my thoughts. "He can't do anything before me," Keifer said, sounding so confident that if Keigan hadn't already tried to kill me, I might've believed him.

Keifer held my arm and pulled me into the passenger seat of the car.

"Oyii, I'll also come!" Yuri said, opening the back door and quickly sitting inside. "Tss, give us some privacy," Keifer muttered to him, annoyed, making Yuri frown. I almost laughed at their faces. I took out my phone and messaged my horoscope brother:
