Sidetilt who was a scout for the Autobots was currently maneuvering through the forest as he soon said to Ratchet "I'm going to the nemesis, I'll call you later, okay?" Soon Sidetilt finished off the call as he drove at a fast speed as leaves blew by his car mode. He yawned as he tried to focus and soon arrived at a rocky, sort of unused area and transformed from his alt mode to his robot mode. He titled his head seeing the large ship land there as a couple of Decepitcons moved out trying to find Energon from what they heard from Shockwave that there was some pure, un-combined Energon around the mines. They started to get out of the area as the Autobot hid himself behind a hedge. He soon jumped in relief as they left and quietly went through the side entrance of the nemesis trying to not get caught by the Decepitcons.
Sidetilt soon found himself in a empty hallway. There was no-one there, not even the usual patrollers who would scan around for any Autobot. Either they were all busy, some had their shifts changed or something important happened. "Huh, that's not normal, whatever made them leave?" He could feel his fuel tank rumbling as he knew he had to get on with this mission, he was already feeling hungry for energon and he should get back as soon as he could. He drove through the hallway, forgetting that potentially he was getting into something very dangerous. He tripped over a pile of boxes and transformed as he groaned rubbing his head. He had made a tear on his tire and cursed to himself "What the frag, not cool." He felt the torn rubber as he got up, feeling pain as his sensors made the pain increase as his eyes looked around.
"Where is that new storage room that they keep talking about?" He got up before hearing steps on the floor. He finally realized the room wasn't empty as he ran off and tried to hide himself. He heard someone speaking "Eh, did you heard someone around here?" He recognise one of the voices as a seeker voice. What were they called, Haze was it? Before someone else replied "You sure you ain't running on fumes? Because I hear nothing around here." Sidetilt heard Haze say "No I'm not insane Nacelle. Anyways where is Thundercracker or Skywarp?" Nacelle comeback with "I think Skywrap is outside and Thundercracker is taking care of the rest of our group. Oh wait a damn minute, someone broke the pipes!" Haze yelled and ran off while Nacelle mumbled something to himself and began to run after the seeker. Sidetilt got out of the closet as he moved to the left direction.
He opened the door of the dark room as it was an unfinished room, with dust around the air as parts of the metallic wall were on the floor and pipes were put into a pile stacked on one over another. There were bits of fallen wires and fragments of glass were scattered and some furniture was unscrewed and some cloths with dust, paint and other stuff was stuck to it. Sidetilt closed the door before looking at his hands again before hearing a soft noise. He didn't notice immediately before the buzzing noise, which sounded similar to what happens on a hot summer day. He felt dread go across his heart. He shook his head trying to deny anything was wrong until he heard large footsteps go across the floors. Suddenly a quiet, forced chuckle cut through the dim hallway as he soon stepped back in slight fear. He heard a gunshot and saw the bullet cut through his hand, making a deep wound.
He watched it fall to the ground as he looked upwards seeing an incredibly large white and red Seeker come from the corner and strolled along his way, how was Starscream alive? he wondered to himself as his optics shot up in surprise. The Autobot took out his gun not before Starscream rushed forward intending to knock it out. The Autobot threw himself inside of the room feeling the adrenaline run through his spark as he breathed tightly from his intakes, the fast thump going through his chest as his throat burned slightly. He could feel his hunger increase as he choked out a cough. He soon went to a brown closet and went inside feeling plasma fall from his plating in nervousness. Soon he heard Starscream open the door and look around the seeker and said to himself "Autobots keep running, come out! It's not that difficult." The Autobot heard him taunt him as he tried to not reply to him. His intakes hurt from breathing too quickly as his worried/scared optics looked over the door.
Starscream loomed around the room as Sidetilt pressed his back against the wall. His hands spread out and his legs tightened up as he heard Starscream stop just around the middle of the room. he heard him turn around as Sidetilt held his hand near his chest, feeling his tank rumble. He was so desperate to eat but there was only the feeling of the closet against his own skin. Starscream's wing brushed against the wall, leaving a gnarly sound of scarping as Sidetilt covered his own ears. He tried to grab his gun out but noticed that the gun didn't have enough fuel to shoot out at the seeker. He put it at the side of himself trying to open the door to no avail and something tough was blocking the door. He realized that he was forcibly locked inside of the claustrophobic closet as he felt a tear stream down the side of his face from both starvation and panic, wondering how long Starscream would stray there. He laid against the floor, his breathing slowing down with his hands close to himself.
Optimus arrived back to base still feeling very dizzy as he transformed and tripped slightly. He saw two to three Autobots coming out in front. As they saw his condition as they went to check out what he was doing. He asked what had happened when he was gone. "Well, we had sent quite a few Autobots out in the front. Sidetilt, Gears and Seaspray. They should be coming sooner or later, right?" Prowl said to the other two who nodded before he said "Oh Alexa is waiting for you in the front." Optimus replied with "I'll see her soon." He noticed Gears's look before asking "You okay?" Gears just said "I think that I want to apologize. I usually don't try to say sorry but... I think you need it." Gears looked at him, before Optimus said "Gears, you blame yourself way too much. You're forgiven, that's enough for me to say." Gears was surprised to say that as Optimus let him go. Gears looked silently as there wasn't a moment of chatting around them. Gears left afterwards, giving a momentary side-glance as there was a weight taken out of the atmosphere.
