Lili was watching from the war windows as blurry shapes passed through the fast car drive. Mrs Akula was gripping the steer wheel tightly as she looked over Lili who had shadows around her face and gone completely quiet. She looked upwards seeing Mrs Akula glance at her, with her face pale and her mouth in a thin line but there was still that gleam in her eye. "You okay Lili?" She asked as Lili shook her head feeling hungry and dehydrated as her stomach rumbled a bit. Mrs Akula gave her a fresh water-bottle which she took it and began to drink out of it. She finished as she put on the cap of the water bottle and left it nearby. The smell of the car was extremely strong and she wanted to get out of there quickly as she can. Soon they arrived at their street as Lili got out of the car and went to to Mrs Akula's house as Mrs Akula unlocked the door and Lili entered inside.
Meanwhile Kirin who was holding a bunch of bags with shopping saw Lili go inside of her house. He was surprised as he recognised her as someone who used to be in the same school as him and she was 3 years below him and it looked like she was going to someone else's house. Kirin turned on his phone before calling Lili's old number that was still on his phone as he heard her reply "Kirin?" She mumbled out as Kirin soon replied to her "Yeah, it's me, Kirin. I been wondering how you been doing seen we haven't seen each other in quite a while. do you want to met up later? I'll tell my mother I'll be near the corner shops. Sounds good?" Lili soon said yes to him as he closed the call and went back to his home while Kirin went to put the groceries in his house. Meanwhile Lili sat down at the kitchen table as Mrs Akula sat down as well in front of her.
"Have you called anyone recently?" Mrs Akula asked as Lili nodded "Yeah a friend of mine that I haven't seen in a while." She said as Mrs Akula nodded at her answer. "Right, may I ask, do you know what happened to Arthur?" Lili shook her head "No, I came to the park afterwards when his message was received towards me. Then I found him... There." She gulped at the thought as Mrs Akula soon continued her questioning "Did you notice anything happening at the place where you found his body?" Lili soon shook her head "N-No, I only found him laying on the floor, bleeding out like no tomorrow." Mrs Akula nodded as she grimaced slightly at the memory, she knew it was very upsetting for both of them. Mrs Akula lost her son and Lili lost possibly her closest friend there. Despite Lili keeping her calm, she was ultimately distressed by what she had seen and the fact that her friend was dead.
Mrs Akula wondered what to ask her but decided simply by saying "Well the guest room is upstairs. You can rest if you ever feel exhausted." Lili nodded as she went upstairs as Mrs Akula sighed. What was she was supposed to do now that her own child was dead, she didn't know how to handle the loss of someone personal to her. But she knew for Lili's sake and those around her that she must be careful to tread about this. She began to cook quietly as she stirred. Meanwhile Lili was currently in the guest room trying to handle her messy thoughts as she began to pace around the room in thought. She soon looked at her phone as she looked over the messages seeing Kirin's previous texts. Some were gifs and some were discussions on hanging out as she closed the app and put on alarm to wake up later on. She laid down on the bed and after a while she began to fall asleep.
Mrs Akula went to upstairs 10 minutes in as she opened the door and interrupted Lili's sleep by accident. Lili got up in confusion as she muttered to herself "Who decided to interrupt my sleep?" She looked up seeing her "Ah, what have you come for?" Mrs Akula looked bone-tired and her red-eyes dilated her pupils as she asked "You want pancakes?" Lili nodded and following her downwards back to the kitchen as there was a plate with pancakes and on the table was different types of jams. Lili grabbed the knife and began spreading strawberry jam on one of the pancakes as she rolled it up and began to eat it while Mrs Akula began to have her own pancake. She looked at Lili up and down seeing her eat quite quickly and it reminded her of how her son used to eat quietly as her posture uncomfortably shifted. Soon Lili finished by saying "This is good, thanks Mrs Akula." And left back upstairs as Mrs Akula said "No worries."
Lili soon went back upstairs and finally noticed the open windows. She closed it as she adjusted the blankets to fit more comfortably as a notification went off. She picked it up and it was by Kirin which said "Hey, are you there?" As she remembered what he said earlier and immediately went downstairs as she heard Mrs Akula asked "Where are you going?" Lili only replied with "Outside." Before opening the door and going outside before she closed the door behind herself. After a few minutes, she arrived to where Kirin was. Soon he high-fived her as he said "You finally came here! Are you okay?" She told him about her experience as he nodded. They were about to go outside until Kirin looked up seeing something along with Lili. Lili looked confused before looking up seeing some sort of Red and White Cybertronain in a cloak with hood moving across the air with high wind around their pistons. They flew off leaving the kids to wonder what is going on.
