As the full-scale invasion of Konoha continued, the village's shinobi fought desperately to repel the attackers. But it was overwhelming—three entire nations had turned against them. The odds were insurmountable. Orochimaru's forces, enhanced with the Curse Mark, added even more pressure. The Konoha forces were exhausted, bloodied, and barely holding the line.
Meanwhile, Minato and the Third Hokage were still engaged in a brutal battle against Orochimaru. But with his chakra-enhanced body, Orochimaru was now able to react to Minato's Flying Thunder God teleportation and even handle coordinated attacks from both Minato and Hiruzen with alarming ease. He laughed at their efforts, mocking their weakness while boasting endlessly about his plans to eventually take over Naruto's body—claiming that once he did, he would become unstoppable.
But all of Orochimaru's taunts were cut short when a tremendous wave of energy swept through the village.
Everyone—enemy and ally alike—froze.
Every shinobi turned their eyes to the sky as a brilliant, fiery red aura lit up the heavens. It surrounded a single figure floating calmly above them all.
Naruto.
Most of the Konoha shinobi felt a surge of hope and pride. Smirks appeared on their tired faces.
It was over now. Naruto had arrived.
On the other hand, the invading shinobi hesitated, dread creeping into their hearts. They knew his reputation—the triple-S-rank shinobi, listed at the very top of the Bingo Book. His name alone caused fear in the hearts of seasoned warriors.
Naruto didn't say a word.
He slowly raised his hand toward the sky. A ball of energy began to form above his palm, growing more intense by the second. Then, with a calm yet chilling expression, he released it.
A small but dense Ki blast shot high into the sky before exploding—and from it rained down dozens, no, hundreds of smaller blasts. Each one targeted enemy shinobi with unerring precision.
It was like a divine storm.
The blasts fell like meteors, chasing down the enemy forces. Many tried to run. Some tried to hide. Others used substitution jutsu or erected barriers—but it didn't matter. The energy followed them like a guided missile, similar to Majin Buu's attack in Dragon Ball Z.
The invaders were being hunted.
Orochimaru looked up at Naruto with narrowed eyes, raising an eyebrow in recognition. He remembered. He knew how they had taken Naruto's blood. At first, Naruto had let it happen out of curiosity—he had been intrigued by what his dear little siblings, Menma and Mito, wanted to do with it.
But he hadn't expected to see it in Danzo's hands… or worse, handed over to Orochimaru.
Still, Naruto hadn't interfered.
Why?
Because he had wanted a challenge.
A real one.
A fight that would get his blood pumping. Something that would awaken that long-dormant excitement in his heart. And Orochimaru… Orochimaru had managed to harness only a fraction of Naruto's power.
But it was flawed.
Corrupted.
The Ki that Orochimaru had taken was not nearly as pure, nor as vast. It lacked harmony. It lacked understanding. Naruto's own Ki was vast, refined, and balanced—something Orochimaru clearly didn't comprehend. The power he now wielded was twisted, unstable, and far from reaching Naruto's true potential.
Naruto simply shook his head. So, he really thought he could fight me with that?
Actually, Naruto would be holding back a little. He could fight… but he wanted to see just how far Orochimaru thought he had come.
Naruto launched himself toward the barrier.
Orochimaru narrowed his eyes, wondering what Naruto was about to do now that he had arrived. After all, his original plan involved multiple tactics to distract and restrain Naruto—then overwhelm him. He was counting on his newly advanced power, years of experience, and vast array of jutsu to give him the upper hand against the boy. Confident in his strength, he secretly began forming hand signs.
Before Naruto could make contact with the barrier, two coffins rose from the ground—Edo Tensei.
The first and Second Hokage emerged, shocking Minato and Hiruzen.
Orochimaru smirked and gave a signal.
The First and Second Hokage immediately rushed toward the Third and Fourth. Hiruzen prepared himself, powering his Ki to the maximum. Meanwhile, Naruto launched himself at the barrier, shattering it on impact as he flung himself at Orochimaru with immense force.
Orochimaru smirked and charged forward as well. Their auras clashed violently—the sheer force of their confrontation causing a massive shockwave that shattered the building beneath them.
The Third and Fourth Hokage, along with the First and Second, leapt to another building nearby and began their battle—Hokage versus Hokage. A legendary clash.
"It seems we meet again," Hiruzen muttered as he eyed his former Sensei's. "I've wanted to see you for a long time."
Meanwhile, Naruto narrowed his eyes at Orochimaru.
"So, you were able to harness a bit of my power, huh? That's interesting, Orochimaru. Why don't you tell me… how did you get that power to begin with?"
Orochimaru smirked. "Well, what can I say? I am rather resourceful. But that's beside the point. Do you really want to know how I got it?"
He chuckled darkly. "It was thanks to your dear siblings. A sample of your blood… a few strands of your hair… I was able to extract that intriguing bloodline of yours and merge it within myself. Now, I am the strongest shinobi to walk this planet. Even stronger than you."
He pointed at Naruto with pride. "You may be powerful. That bloodline may grant you strength… but you lack the experience I have—forty years of battle, knowledge, and evolution. With this bloodline—which surpasses even the Byakugan and the Sharingan—I am invincible."
He laughed maniacally, drunk on his own ego. But then, he heard a quiet chuckle.
Naruto was smirking, a calm yet amused expression on his face.
"Well, Orochimaru, I must admit—you are powerful. Even stronger than the First Hokage, I'd say," Naruto admitted, glancing toward Hashirama. He could feel Hashirama's power, vast and ancient… but it was nothing he couldn't handle. One percent of his power would be more than enough to defeat him at full strength.
Then he turned his gaze back to Orochimaru.
"But trust me when I say this: you don't understand that power. Only I do. You have a mere drop… compared to my ocean."
Orochimaru grinned. "Oh? Is that so, Naruto-kun? Then why don't you show me this ocean of yours?"
He launched himself forward, his hand glowing with chakra-enhanced energy, striking toward Naruto at full speed—ready to prove his might.
Naruto smirked. He decided to play along… just a little.
Raising only a single finger, it glowed with a fiery red aura. Orochimaru's legendary Kusanagi blade clashed against that one finger—and stopped, completely.
Orochimaru's eyes widened in horror. "How… How is this even possible?!"
Grinding his teeth, Orochimaru roared, pouring more and more power into his blade. Yet Naruto blocked every strike effortlessly with just a single finger, as if swatting away an insect.
Naruto's mocking smile only grew wider.
Suddenly, a beam of white energy shot toward him. Naruto glanced back. With a casual flick of his wrist, he slapped it away—like it was nothing.
The attack had come from none other than the Tsuchikage, who floated mid-air. Somehow, he had escaped the tracking key blasts that Naruto had sent after him earlier. He had intended to land a surprise blow using his Dust Release technique.
But unknown to Naruto—and to many shinobi present—another threat was quietly emerging.
The Akatsuki were making their move.
They, too, had grown wary of the storm that was Naruto. And if they couldn't face him directly, they would target the next best person—someone who might hold valuable knowledge about him.
Someone… dangerous in a different way.
