Alyssa didn't seem even remotely worried. Not even the Pokémon standing in front of her posed any real threat. Alyssa didn't seem even remotely worried. Not even the Pokémon standing in front of her posed any real threat. Rose's Gengar was the strongest — decent, sure — but still nowhere near dangerous enough to threaten Toxtricity.
Pankinzinho wasn't as strong as Noir, but he wasn't far behind either.
Alyssa watched the three trainers before her, letting out a bored sigh as she scratched the side of her head.
"Alright… how about you all just admit defeat?" she said, tilting her head. "It saves us time — and saves you the effort."
Rose, the Black girl with bright green eyes, stepped forward with a smug smile.
"You're a pretty brave bitch, huh?" she scoffed. "Let me guess — one of Roy's lackeys. We're not afraid of you or your gang of dumb biker idiots."
Alyssa didn't reply.
She had no idea who the hell Roy was. She stopped caring the moment Rose said bitch.
It was like the whole world shut off.
Everything vanished except the girl's arrogant grin.
That grin… that damn grin.
The only thing Alyssa could think about was ripping it off Rose's face.
"Thunder Punch."
Toxtricity vanished in a flash of yellow light, reappearing in front of Smeargle — who barely had time to blink before taking a punch straight to the gut.
The painting Pokémon was sent flying like a missile, crashing into the far wall and kicking up a thick cloud of dust.
The room fell into a dead silence.
Until Alyssa's soft, almost playful voice sliced through the tension:
"One down. Three to go." She leaned forward slightly, hands clasped behind her back, smiling with the ease of someone who truly didn't care.
The trainers and their Pokémon stared from the unconscious Smeargle back to Alyssa.
Rose snarled:
"Grafaiai! Dig!"
Grafaiai pounced onto the floor, breaking through the old wooden boards and disappearing underground.
Alyssa only shook her head, the way someone does when a child throws a tantrum.
Rose grew even angrier.
"Gengar! Shadow Ball!"
A dark sphere condensed in Gengar's hands and shot toward Toxtricity at high speed.
"Protect."
A bright green dome formed around Toxtricity.
The Shadow Ball hit it and exploded, throwing dust and dirt across the entire room.
The trainers shielded their eyes.
When the dust swallowed Alyssa and Toxtricity, their bodies vanished from sight.
But her voice still echoed — cold and instructive:
"Amateurs. Never take your eyes off your opponent."
They tried squinting through the dust, eyes burning…
And then a bright yellow flash illuminated the room.
Gengar and Impidimp were swallowed by the light and collapsed to the ground, both knocked out instantly.
Grafaiai burst upward from beneath the floor, trying to hit Toxtricity from below — but Toxtricity was already expecting it.
He stepped to the right and slammed a Thunder Punch directly into the little monkey's skull.
Grafaiai fell. Unconscious.
The room went completely silent.
Rose and the others were frozen in shock.
Toxtricity had needed just one hit for each opponent.
They weren't brilliant trainers, but they weren't weak either — Rose even had a badge.
Alyssa began walking forward slowly, steps light, hands still behind her back, as if she were strolling through a park.
Dante and the other boy stepped back in terror.
Rose, however, grabbed a wooden plank from the ground and charged at Alyssa with a furious scream.
Alyssa simply stepped to the right and drove a blunt punch into Rose's stomach.
Rose dropped instantly.
Even on the floor, Rose kept a defiant glare.
Alyssa smiled.
"That look is much better. Even on the ground, you're fierce."
She glanced at Dante and the other boy trembling in the corner.
"Alright, decision made: you two work for me now, you little shits."
Before either of them could respond, a voice roared from outside:
"ROSE, YOU BITCH! I came to collect what you owe me! Get out here before I break this place down!"
Dante ran to the window, and his face turned pale.
He spun toward Rose, stuttering:
"Shit… shit… It's Roy! And he brought EVERYONE! What do we do?!"
Alyssa didn't fully understand the situation.
But honestly?
She didn't give a damn.
She just walked to the front door, opened it slowly…
And the sight actually surprised her.
A little more than half a dozen teenagers on motorcycles were parked in front of the house.
In the center stood a young man wearing an annoyed expression, beside a massive Aggron more than two meters tall.
He frowned when he saw Alyssa.
"And who the hell are you, bitch?"
Alyssa smiled gently.
Slowly, she released two Poké Balls.
A Noivern and a towering, scarred Corviknight materialized, flapping their wings.
The sight of the two Pokémon made several of the bikers swallow hard.
Alyssa kept her sweet smile.
And with the softest voice imaginable, she ordered:
"Kill those bastards."
Her tone was heavy, cold… completely opposite from her gentle smile.

Meanwhile, at the Novice Stadium rest area during the Music Festival…
Edward was sitting, scrolling through his phone, reading the message Alyssa had left him.
He let out a long sigh, already feeling the headache forming just imagining the trouble she'd get into.
"She can't get into that much trouble… right?" he thought.
"You fight pretty well. I've never seen you in any tournaments… is this your first time?"
The feminine voice pulled him from his thoughts.
When Edward looked up, he saw a beautiful girl — with a Drednaw at her side — smiling at him. Rose's Gengar was the strongest — decent, sure — but still nowhere near dangerous enough to threaten Toxtricity.
Pankinzinho wasn't as strong as Noir, but he wasn't far behind either.
