Veyra rolled clear out of the danger zone of the beams as coming up on one knee, she aimed and released an arrow.

The arrow struck Korrath's shoulder with deadly precision but this time, things didn't go the way Veyra wanted as the arrow bounced off harmlessly, triggering only sparks.
