After Tsuna had taken care of everything, he picked up the square black cloth that had been wrapped around the lunch box and tied it around Shoko's neck to use as a napkin.
As he tied it on, Tsuna gently stroked the cloth, worried that Shoko might feel something strange or uncomfortable against her neck.
Teacher Ageo was also helping some children in the Sakura class deal with problems like lunch boxes not being able to be opened.
When Tsuna was ready to eat after everything was settled, he suddenly thought of something and turned to Shoko and slowly said, "Shoko, you eat first. I'll go get two cups of warm water."
Shoko nodded in response to Tsuna. Tsuna stood up and walked towards Teacher Ageo. Just as he was about to speak, Teacher Ageo noticed him and asked,
"Are you having any problems, Tsuna?" After Teacher Ageo finished speaking, she squatted down and looked at Tsuna at eye level.
"Teacher Ageo, do you have a disposable cup? I want to get some warm water."
Teacher Ageo spoke gently to Tsuna, saying, "Yes, I'll get that for you. Can you help me keep an eye on the children in the Sakura class?" After she said this, she raised her right hand and gently stroked Tsuna's head.
Tsuna did not respond to Teacher Ageo's words. He thought that he would trouble Teacher Ageo just this once today. When he returned, he would ask Shizuka to help him prepare a thermos cup to bring to the kindergarten.
"Tsuna?" Teacher Ageo called, noticing Tsuna's slow response with concern.
Tsuna returned from Teacher Ageo's call and quickly replied, "Ah? Oh! I'm fine, Teacher Ageo. I was just lost in thought for a moment."
Seeing that Teacher Ageo was relieved, Tsuna continued, "Then I will rely on you, Teacher Ageo. I will take care of the children in the class."
"Haha, it's not a big deal." Teacher Ageo chuckled. She had never seen a four-year-old child being polite to her. She stood up and patted Tsuna's head before turning around and leaving the Sakura class to get a cup of water.
Tsuna watched Teacher Ageo leave the Sakura class, slowly walk to the podium, and carefully observe the children who were eating quietly below.
Except for the first day when there were more than 20 people, only eleven children are in the Sakura class now. They all wear hearing aids of different colors in their ears, including Shoko, who is concentrating on eating.
Tsuna saw that they were much more obedient than the children in his own Sunflower class. It was probably because of their disabilities that they were more obedient and sensible than other children.
When Tsuna leaned against the podium to think, Teacher Ageo also walked to Tsuna with two small transparent plastic cups. "Okay, Tsuna, you should go downstairs to have lunch too."
"Thank you, Teacher Ageo." Tsuna carefully took two cups of warm water from Teacher Ageo's hands, thanked her again, and walked to the position of the girl who was concentrating on eating below the stage.
After Tsuna returned to Shoko's side, he gently set two cups of water on the table and said with concern, "Shoko, please eat slowly and be careful not to choke. Drink some water first." With that, Tsuna picked up one of the cups and offered it to Shoko.
Shoko looked up and didn't dare to look at Tsuna.
She quickly took the warm water from Tsuna's hand. Because Shoko's movements were a bit too fast, some of the water in the cup splashed out. "Go slowly, Shoko."
Shoko didn't hear what Tsuna said clearly. After taking the warm water, she tilted her head back and drank it.
"Cough... cough...!" Shoko began to cough violently. Tsuna wanted to hold his forehead and smile bitterly, but he still walked to Shoko and began to pat her back to make her feel better.
After Shoko stopped coughing, Tsuna let go of his hand that was patting Shoko's back and stared at Shoko's face: "Shoko, are you hiding something from me?"
Shoko still didn't dare to look at Tsuna's face, and she retorted to Tsuna guiltily, "No... Tsuna, you think too much."
Tsuna could barely understand Shoko's words, as they were not clear, and he completely missed the guilt behind them..
Tsuna raised his right hand and patted Shoko's head before he put it on the chair halfway up the seat that Shoko had vacated, ready to concentrate on finishing his lunch.
Tsuna sat down and first took a sip of warm water to rinse his mouth and moisten his throat. Then, he opened the black insulation cover that he had closed before leaving his seat. He noticed that the cover was slightly bulging.
Tsuna turned his head to look at Shoko, who was next to him. When Shoko noticed Tsuna looking at her, she instantly looked away, feeling guilty, and began to glance left and right.
Tsuna roughly guessed the problem, but was still not sure, then looked back at the lunch box and gently tore open the insulation cover on it.
When it was fully opened, he saw the broccoli that was almost out of place, and one or two flowers on the edge fell on the table because Tsuna opened the lid.
"Shoko, eating only meat and not vegetables will lead to an unbalanced diet." Tsuna picked up the broccoli that fell on the table with chopsticks and put it into his mouth to chew and did not forget to persuade the picky eater, Shoko.
Tsuna took a closer look and found that only the broccoli was more, and the others were not more or less.
Shoko heard Tsuna's words and shook her head excitedly and retorted: "No... No... No!".
Teacher Ageo, who was sitting next to the podium, observed the interaction between Tsuna and Shoko and initially thought they were quarreling. Just as she was about to stand up and intervene, she noticed Tsuna holding a small piece of broccoli with chopsticks and offering it to Shoko's mouth. Based on her many years of experience in the field, she suspected that this was likely because Shoko was a picky eater.
"Just eat a little?"
Shoko listened to Tsuna's gentle persuasion and looked at the broccoli that was picked up and put in her mouth. She could only slowly open her mouth and bite the small broccoli.
Tsuna noticed that Shoko's expression while chewing was as uncomfortable as eating bitter melon; she frowned tightly and forced herself to swallow it.
Tsuna picked up his cup of warm water, which he had only taken a sip of, and handed it to Shoko. In a gentle voice, he said, "Drink some water, and take your time this time, Shoko."
Tsuna noticed that Shoko was quite resistant to eating broccoli, so she had to consume it in silence. Occasionally, however, he would pick up a small piece of broccoli and a piece of fried pork to feed her while they were having a conversation.
Tsuna usually finished his lunch in a few bites, but this time, Shoko was talking to him next to him, so he had to respond from time to time and pick up a little broccoli to feed her, resulting in him being the last one in the class to finish lunch.
Tsuna closed the lids of the two empty lunch boxes, then raised his hand to untie the black cloth tied around Shoko's neck and spread it flat on the table. After packing the two lunch boxes, he prepared to get up and go back to the Sunflower Class to check.
"I'm going back to the Sunflower Class first, Shoko, and I'll see you after school this afternoon." After saying that, Tsuna stood up and raised his hand to touch Shoko's head.
"Yeah!" Shoko nodded in response to Tsuna. Tsuna looked at Shoko's obedient expression and couldn't help but stretch out his hand to pinch her soft face.
"Well... Ah... Tsuna~" Shoko spoke, trying to verbally stop Tsuna's behavior.
Tsuna didn't hear what Shoko said at all. He let go of her hand after he was satisfied. He said "See you in the afternoon" to Shoko and turned to walk towards Teacher Ageo.
